January 24, 200719 yr Smithing was created to allow one new item per level; however, there are more applications than levels. It is for this reason that upon reaching level 99 you are able to make four new items. Smithing is also the only skill that gives a new reward/use at every level, and the only non-member skill with uses requiring level 99 (Construction in P2P requires level 99 to make magic cape racks). Firemaking is the skill with the fewest applications or uses, with only 14 ways to use the skill. The formula for obtaining combat level has as of yet not been exactly determined by any fansite, and JAGeX refuses to release the formula. Runecrafting was the last of the original skills to be maxed by any player. The official names of the Skeleton and Warrior guarding the Detail Select page are Crunchy and Tim, respectively. Andrew Gower did not actually start the JAGeX company. Andrew produced the forerunner to Runescape (DeviousMUD) in 1998 and hired the assistance of the JAGeX team in 2000 to help code and expand his idea. One year later, RSC was released. Gower became team leader of JAGeX later that year. Prior to working on RS, JAGeX produced several independent games, some of which remain fairly entertaining given that they are more than seven years old.
January 24, 200719 yr there is a mine in the cave at they end of the digsite wchich has about 7 silver rocks and i think really know one knows abouth it Barrows drops: guthan helm x1, torags hammers x1, karils top x1, ahrims staff x1
January 25, 200719 yr actually neither smithing nor construction have 1 thing per level, look under steel and you'll find that there is nothing u can do at level 47 that you can't do at 46. Also the one for construciton is 97 i think (somewhere in the late 90s). Smithing-48 strength-66 Ranged-47 Magic-55Humor is reason gone mad- Groucho Marx I am a nobody and nobody is perfect, therefore I am perfect.
January 25, 200719 yr People always seem to get the the caps in jagex wrong ... its JaGEx ... it stands for Java Game Experts Actually their corporate site has a sign saying jagex and its capes are JAGeX. But look at the knowledge base and it explains what JaGEx stands for ... ive always thought it strange why they have JAGeX at the logo This is a quote from the KB Location: * Home > Customer Support > Jagex > What is Jagex? What is Jagex? Jagex, which stands for Java Gaming Experts, is the name of the company which produces the Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, MMORPG, RuneScape as well as some other small games. In December 2001 Andrew Gower, Paul Gower and Constant Tedder got together and founded Jagex Limited as a commercial operation to take over the running of RuneScape, underlying technologies and other games developed by Andrew. RuneScape had already by then become a game which had had over 1 million accounts created over 2001! The three founders set out with two immediate tasks: firstly to make the operation of RuneScape commercially viable, establishing long term advertising sales relationships and secondly to develop a premium version of the game for subscription-paying members. Both of these tasks were achieved soon after and on 27th February 2002 Jagex launched the members version of RuneScape. In the first week after launch over 5000 people subscribed making RuneScape instantly one of the largest pay-to-play Java games in the world. In March 2004 RuneScape was updated heavily. The new version which is often referred to as RuneScape 2 (RS2) features a completely new game engine and vastly improved graphics. Since that date RuneScape has gone from strength to strength; expanding as both a game - with regular updates giving new storylines, quests and maps produced by the Content Development team and as an ever-growing community of sociable online game players. I dont understand why it is like this on the corporate site
January 25, 200719 yr theres NO SHADOWS IN RUNESCAPE!!! i think theres an exception for the updated dragons deamons etc. i think they have shadows but absolutly nothing else has a shadow :XD: :-s :-k  8-) :ohnoes:.... guess its for the people who dont get enough ha ha ha...ha..ha.......ha...... i like your sig pansy Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
January 25, 200719 yr Ok, so everyone knows about RunEscape and RuneScape but how about RunesCape? People can eat 28 sharks in a sitting? I can't drink poison potions to poison myself but can cure with antipoison? How come the arrows that drop on land hit enemies for health too? If they touched the target, they would get stuck in the flesh or break, if not, they shouldn't hit for health. The rune essence mine never depletes? Non-members never need to drink water? You stop mining/woodcutting if you turn run on or off when mining/woodcutting? The crown displayed before a mod's name has horns on it, symbolizing evil? Unless someone talks to them, all the bankers in any bank are turning southward, if someone talks to them at an angle, they remain facing that angle for 30 secs more unless someone else talks to them, then, they again turn southward, so, the bankers are based upon or related to players.
January 25, 200719 yr duble post (actual post under this one) Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
January 25, 200719 yr only addy rune and climbing boots have as str bonus...A rusty sword is the most useless thing in runescape Wrong, there is a use for them, whereas there is no use for vampire dust, a tile, and several other items. Rusty swords can be repaired on a whetstone in your POH. and what about dorics weel? ive gotten a rusty sword before the poh update and i have heard from a specific rivial website (hq) that you can obtain a mithrill sword or lower but so far i havent proven this for myself because i just really dont care if i end up with a mithrill sword at all. also dont wanna search boxes, crates etc. for them Firemaking is practically the most, useless skill. :ohnoes: Firemaking is useful for many things: * Burning Mort'ton shades, which gives you more firemaking xp, but also prayer xp. * Lighting lanterns and gnomish mining helmets * Lighting candlesticks and the big torches used in Desert Treasure * Lighting torches to smoke trape in Hunting * many other purposes *GASP* dont forget tears of guthix!!! that is the first thing i thought of when you said its used for a lot of things! i also thought of castle wars but not really worth thinking about. Also, if you add tin, aluminum, or zink, you get stainless steel. And THAT is the metalurgy lesson for the day. zinc That's the spelling lesson for the day, although it would take years to make any discernible effect on the general rs population  owned ^^^^^ most useless thing in runescape, cept broken glass Broken glass is used in two places in rs. its also used in a quest with the slugs i think its called slug menace if i recall but im not 100% sure. its used for drying a wet/damp torch during the quest while your on the dock. check the quest out its very fun. you can have 28 cats in your backpack and the never fight or attack eachother  HOW DO YOU GET MORE THAN 1 IN URE BAG :?:  Get a cat, grow it to adult size, bank it, go back to gertrude and get another cat, keep repeating until you have 28 cats banked, then take them all out. =D> Oh, and you can choose your cat's colour (except hellcat) if you wear Ring of Charos(n) (or whatever the letter in braces is) when you talk to Gertrude. =D> =D> =D> =D> Step 1: Get a pot, some weeds, and a tenderbox Step 2: Use the weed on the pot Step 3: Use the tenderbox on the pot full of weed And there you go! you have smoking weed, the item is called smoking pot or somthing, you can go smoking pot in runescape! its easy! This is, once again, for the umpteenth time, yet another example of someone not knowing an item that is part of a quest. -.- its called a joke.... and if there werent so many QUEST DOERS not many people would know this and actually laugh!!! god your so uptight 95% of people who say they got hacked on runescape , actually gave there password to a potentialy "trusted friend" and feel ashamed to admit they have been scammed by them. More like 99.95% :shame: one in every 100 tell the truth it cant be catigorized in percentages in that stature ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The warhammer shop in Relleka has a spot for Rune Warhammers but they never restock, the only way there are ever any there is if players sell ones they loot from trolls, and that happens a lot with the new treasure trails doesn't it? (rhetorical question) ummm i recall that the gem storeS also have the same problem.... not really sure what the point of them are since you can sell them at general stores for possibly the same price..... all the quotes that you did CORECTLY ( ) are erased but otherwise very good =D> Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
January 25, 200719 yr The maximum amount of money you can have/carry is 2^31 -1. = 2,147,483,647 funny number don't you think? :-k Something to do with the Java script thingamabob... :-s :-k Yep, it's the long integer also used in java that stores big numbers, like GP in runescape ("coincidentally", the long integer data limit is 2,147,383,648 bytes). If we were to be really nerdy though, RS would be destroyed if they tried using a higher integer than 64 bits (which is impossible in java), and the maximum GP would be over a septillion, (9,223,372,036,854,775,808). If somebody gets that amount of gold, runescape is doomed. It can *not* be stored accurately, it would have to be rounded up or down which means the person would lose a bit of cash. Not sure if he cares, with that level of wealth though, that would also account to the people who collect cabbeges and other useless junk :ohnoes: :uhh: Wow, watching this thread is better than pro wrestling! =D>This thread is probably better than pro wrestling because the fights here are real (And the boobs).
