It looks great so far!! :shock: I'm a little confused about the sword thing though :? Is it coming out of his glove? The image (the parts you've shaded) seems so simply made, but at the same time, complex and perfect :shock:

looks awsome so far, i assume its a wip since you have only shaded half. The whip looks a little too thick in some places though.

Yes eckered, this is runescape fan art. Did the blue armour not tip you off there? I'm feeling nostalgic.

His sword also just seems to be chaotic from the shading. The helmet is brilliant with simple shading though. The sword shading does capture the battle-worn look though.

Edit-Meh, defender, whatever, the guy's buff enough to not need one.

 

 

 

The lower cross portion of the defender seems to blend into the chestplate a bit on the tip right now, might need some more definition.

I'm thinking of changing it from a defender to a sword-hand, where his arm is just a nub with a sword jammed in it.

I agree with Xman, it was good fun zooming in on it. I'm liking the rune colour (always had trouble choosing that shade... -_-;;), and the defender is very well shaded.

I'd really love to see you to make the most off AAing your work, but there's nothing much I can say to improve as your style is pretty much your own and I'd just be kidding myself by trying to comment towards any major changes.. Just keep it up, its a very interesting piece.

Make the most of AAing? No AA till I know where everything goes Ter, dont want to waste time AAing into a color that may not be there at the end.

not sure if your gyoing to change the face around a bit, but the top should be a slightly ligher shade as the light seems to be coming from the top sorta...
