I didn't make my hybrid to make money. I WILL loose alot money on it. I made it because of the thrilling feeling of beeing in the wildy and you have no idea what you are waiting for. No fights are the same.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thats why I made my pure. And all guys thats flaming pures, stop it, don't get pissed because you get owned.

I made my pure to kill rc pkers, pures are just like any other acc they can be a newb or a respectable player just like any one else, dont judge people on stats judge on personality.

 

 

 

My pure is 94 combat rune pure.

I like my mage pure. Its fun to go pking on F2p where the wildly is actually populated. Pures on P2p are in my opinion just a waste of time :-# . But you need to remember that you can do what ever you want to with your account.

I don't think pures in general are bad, it's just that the majority of the time, the people who create the pures are some level 70 who went into the wilderness, with his brand new dragon battleaxe, and got koed by a pure. They think "Hey, I want to do that too!". So they drop trade their total bank worth of about 250k over to a pure account (with a crappy name, such as purepkr30475 :roll: )and begin training to about 40 attack and 50 strength, then realise it's too much trouble going any further, so they begin Pking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the otherhand, some pures have very high level mains, who are finished in a sense, on their old account, and wish to try something new. These are the "good" pures. They actually know what they're doing, have all the money they need to get that 99 magic or range, and are generally well-mannered.

personally i don't see the point of a pure acct if you have a main.. Time wasted gettin exp on those noob accts you can make one fairly decent acct... Why work twice as hard?

at first i must admit i hated pures. they seemed like know it alls and snobs that dont respect you or the work you have done. but thats just the person not the people in particular. i recently made a pure(hybrid mage and range but no range yet) and i must admit that after i get done with all my training i will make it a normal character. which is wht most pures become after they are done.

What's with all the pure hate? As Runescape is a MMORPG you can raise your stats however you wish. You choose how to level your character; Someone else chooses how to level theirs. Neither is more "Correct" than the other and vice versa. Complaining because someone else raised their character in a way that is advantaged in PVP combat is stupid. If you don't like it, then fashion your stats to be more effective. If you don't want to, then live with the consequences.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And I don't understand how people continue to stereotype all pures without having met 90% of them. Too many people have pre-disposed judgements about someone whenever they found out they're a pure.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, how the hell do pures ruin the wilderness? Personally, I don't understand this argument as pure PK'ing has existed since RSC. IMHO, pures don't ruin the wilderness; The people complaining about pures do.

Mostly, I agree pures whine a lot for no reason.

 

 

 

But the clue thing is different to me. Why, you ask. Well, what if they're pure is there main. I mean I doubt if I can get 80+ skills on a "side" account.

 

 

 

Also doing clues won't give them any kind of a higher ownage level in the wildy, it doesn't effect the wildy at all. So I think it's just fair if they could also be able to do lvl 3 clues. In fact, doing lots of lvl 3 clues on a pure account is quite hard already, even without the def requirments of the items. And I have respect for them doing that.

If that's what you want to do then you are welcome to do that but struggle with many other aspects of the game.

 

 

 

I am turning my main into a 'Barrows' pure, 70 def and 52 prayer with varying other skills like high melees and higer mage and 70 range (for example). This leaves to option to do many other things and quests etc and be able to make money from staking.

Personally, I couldn't give a fig about 'pures'. I rarely venture into 'Wildy', if I do its only to do a clue scroll (so I'll be carrying bugger all), or to craft a couple of K nats (so I'll be carrying bugger all). As I see it, pure PK'ers can only be doing the game a service by driving the economy (players get PK'ed, lose their stuff and have to earn it back). I'm a skiller, I farm, herblore, craft etc. which means that I hardly ever spend anything, in fact I sell more than I buy, so from an economists point of view, I could be seen to be more harmful to the game than a PK'er.

My rune pure is 94 combat, hits 38s and kills peoplewith 70 def with ease, dont talk without experience to back it up.

 

What gets me about pures is when they ask " str lvl", you tell them what yours is and you get the reply "haha noob mines higher". Just because I choose to train all my combat stats does not make me a noob.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

challenge those kinds of pures to a duel, be like u can wear full torag and ill wear nothing and we will see who owns who.
