December 22, 200619 yr My school was threatened with a shooting this month. Their is a large group of freshman emo girls that hate the 'preps' (ugh, I'm not against stereotypes, I just hate that word) and the 'jocks' (see previous bracket). They said that on December 22nd they were going to shoot and stab any cheerleaders or football players they see. The police have come in and talked to us, saying that their is no threat, that everyone involved in this has been expelled. But if their's no thread why are we in lockdown mode? Why do we have to stay in the school all day? Another thing, what if you go to school? I think (yes, I think tongue.gif) that you have a right to go to school and you shouldn't be afraid to, but what about the idiots running around in their football jerseys and all decked out in Abercrombie and Fitch on purpose? They don't deserve to be shot, but isn't that like kicking a dog when it's down? Sure, the dog probably won't hurt you, but why would you aggravate the situation even more? (freaky thing is, the EXACT same thing happened to my teacher when she was in High School a few years ago, but it was pre-Columbine)

When I was in school, there were maybe one or two bomb threats the whole time I was there. Nothing more than threats. Now, there were two this year, and there is rampant gang violence. "White Power", which picks on the 4 or 5 non-white students there, and "Free Soldiers", which as far I know don't have an agenda. School was never that bad while I was there.

But my school is 93%ish white people, 6.5% native people and .5% person(one person) black people, so white power is kinda totally useless there.

If someone in my school threatened us with a gun/knife I wouldn't be very afraid. It would take some balls to kill another person.. Internet Marketing For Newbies

What's the difference if it's in a black dominated school or white dominated school? And, I don't think that they would get in trouble, they are "minorities". Anyway, There hasn't been any kind of threat in my school in a while. December 22, 200619 yr luckily for me, i live in australia and we dont really have school shootings here. we had one really bad shooting in tasmania in the 90's though (not a school shooting) - it was called the Port Aurthur Massacre. about 35 people were killed. after that, the gun laws in this country became more strict.

If a guy held a gun to my head, it would scare the [cabbage] out of me. Knife, not so much. Just run like hell. But just because you have a gun doesn't mean you can aim. For example, alot of trained gunman can barely hit a high speed moving target. A guy without training with a gun? Geez, the recoil would probably mess up his shot so much that they'd miss.
December 22, 200619 yr If there was a Bomb Scare I wouldn't go to school that day... This White vs. Black thing is stupid! America already had a war on it and we dont any more unnessarcy violence. What really kills me is when innocent people are killed. :( My school is one quarter white, one quarter black, one quarter Hispanic, and the other quater Other (with Asians taking most of that percentage...) So a 'war' between Whites and Blacks could kill a lot of people. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
December 23, 200619 yr yea 2 years ago at my school (year before i got into the school) there was a bomb threat and since freshman yea (last year) i have had a bad feeling that there will be a school shooting or 2 because of the way people treat each other at my school...bullies upon bullies
