December 26, 200619 yr I'm new here. I'll be posting this thread, one other thread, and that's it...I won't be back. So please don't have a go just 'cos I don't know what I'm doing. On to the subject at hand; If I wanted to post a thread requesting info on this website (history, uniqueness, anything that you might find in an encyclopedia article)....where would I post it? Or is there some other easy way to find out this info? Cheers for your time.
December 26, 200619 yr There is this current thread which is requesting information on the birth of Tip.It.
December 26, 200619 yr Author K. Looks like there's no chance of an official statement of any kind then? :P From first impressions it seems I'd have to spend a while around here getting to know who knows things and how things work around here. And despite my mild devotion to my cause I'm not willing to put that much time into a community I'm going to abandon as soon as I've got what I want. So, er, bye. *waves*
December 26, 200619 yr Theres loads of stickies posts explaining the rules ect if thats what you mean? :-/ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. December 26, 200619 yr What do you want this information for? Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
December 26, 200619 yr What do you want this information for? self evidently some kind of forum catalogue or encylopedia. But I may be wrong. It has happened once before.
December 26, 200619 yr I guessed that much. I just wanted to know more specifics. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
December 28, 200619 yr Author Specifics? http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/ It's for that website. It's an encyclopedia, of sorts, so it'll be exactly like an encyclopedia entry.
December 28, 200619 yr As it's a wiki, couldn't you just ask for somebody from TIF to go there and edit it himself? ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
December 28, 200619 yr As it's a wiki, couldn't you just ask for somebody from TIF to go there and edit it himself? Then he wouldn't get credit for the edit, which is what this is all about.

December 28, 200619 yr Author It's not about credit, it's just that if an article is written whole and then tweaked afterwards, it's generally better then a stub being expanded by a dozen different people. But if I'm perfectly honest, the idea just didn't occur to me. Ok, where would I ask that?
December 30, 200619 yr Author *looks around* are these forums RS - style, whereby any thread not on the front page is ignored? Well, just ao anyone knows, I will be checking this repeatedly until it dies.
