How do you scam real life money!? Prison is 4 me!

Jeez anyone here that is telling this guy to gamble as serious financial advice should be banned!

Gambling: The lottery, throwing dices

Risk taking: Investing into anything, certain game variants

Sorry, but I don't agree. He wanted financial advice, other than getting a job. Without risk taking, there is no such thing as earning a decent profit. And some games which are played against other players (such as Texas Hold'em) are barely card-based, depending more on the player and his nerves.

That was just one of the suggestions. No-one was telling him to pick a number between 1 and 5 to double his money or lose it all.

The money you earn yourself from working, has the greatest sense of accomplishment. Job's aren't all bad.

Other then that? Sell your body? Pfft...

If you're going to ask a stupid question be prepared to receive stupid answers.

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart,

and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

Only 75K - not very good were they. There have been people in the past who have counted cards and left ONE casino 100K up.

On the side: counting cards is a quick way to get yourself black listed from pretty much every casino in the city (if not state).

stock market, as some have said any idiot can make plenty of money in the stock market (i did and im an idiot) but you must have money to make money as the most lucrative investments require at least 10k dollars with most very good mutual funds with a buy in of 50k+

To those saying "start a sucessfull website"... good bloody luck lol.

It takes a long time for even a successful site to turn into a profit machine. Over at the Battlestar Wiki every penny gained in advertising revenue goes towards a better hosting package to support the ever growing site lol. I dont forsee it making a profit for a while and its been running since February 2005

"We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" Jagex 01/04/01 - 02/03/12

Personally, I don't like people who claim benefits when they're not needed. I have a family living opposite me in a very nice house, all paid for by tax payers. These people are fraudulent idiots. Lazy. They're perfectly healthy, but never worked a day in their life.

I don't want you to turn out to be one of these people. Find a job you have interest in. Eg: If you like graphics design, go to a local job centre and say "Hey, I'm x years of age, I'm looking for a job whereby I would enjoy and use my graphics design skills".

If you shop around, you'll eventually find a job you'll love. You'll want to get up for it in the morning. You won't say "Damn, have to go to work now" or "Can't wait for the weekend." Work isn't overrated. People who say it's hard, say it's overrated because they've made a mistake somewhere along the line.

How old are you? If you're still young, don't make the mistake of bunking off in school, skipping lessons and homework. Try your best, and believe me, it will pay off... Vastly.

So, in summary: Find something - A hobby - Try to adapt it so you can use it to work.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're young and can't legally get a full time job, work on something you enjoy. Again, I'll use the example of graphics design. Use it to make a website, then gradually build it up into a community. Then, as said above... Use a website to gain profit.

Hobby part is cool. Best thing to do is find something you're very interested in and can stick with it. That way you can see what courses you'll need to take in the future etc. etc.

Instead of spending x hours in covering all your subjects and getting A's in them, you can get B's in them and really devote your time into what you find interesting and be, literally, years ahead of people who graduate in that degree/profession or whatever.

Of course you better be really certain, because if you change your mind, those B's might come back to bite you in the...rear.
