January 5, 200719 yr I thought Rouge's Den safes was the fastest? I don't like mining for gems, because of all the Shilo Gems you would get.
January 5, 200719 yr Go to Shilo and take a chisel. Any gem that you get that you don't want, just chisel it into stackable bolt tips. January 5, 200719 yr Shilo Gem Rocks hands down. Not hands down by any means. Mining coal with a glory will get you the same number of usable gems per load that you would get from the gem rocks. Check out the Runescape Investor blog
January 5, 200719 yr I had some pretty good luck with the safes at rogues den. I'd stick to them, because that's the quickest way to get gems I can think of. (aside from the pally chest in Ardongue) ~M
January 5, 200719 yr Shilo Gem Rocks hands down. Nope, the Rogue's Den safes are much faster for ordinary gems. Another alternative is to try a combination of the safes in King Lathas' castle and the gem stall in Ardy, but that's still probably not as fast and you'll get almost all sapphs. January 5, 200719 yr Rogues safes, though I would recomend having 50 agility as to be able to buy the stethoscope from the shop. Sadly potting to agility 50 isn't allowed nor is trading from other players. It can come and go in waves, some time you can be on a real hot streak in terms of gems other time it can be a warm streak where you're successful, but you justget coins. Failures do damage, but with food and a careful eye on your healthbar you should be okay.
