Verry nice guide, i will use it one day. There is just one thing... i think you shouldn't drop your saphires if you have enough game necklaces. You can make saphire rings (and enchant them ofcourse) to make recoil rings wich sell for 2-3 k ea, a bit of extra cash might be handy?

Is the crafting guild good too? I personally havnt dont the quest to go to the plce where u need the gold helm. Also another thing is, I finished the legends quest, but i dropped the thing that tells you how to make it. Is there a way to get it again? I am planning to drop the gold bowl and talk to that buy again and c if he gives.

As I have said before, I haven't tried the Blast Furnace, and I don't have the best of ideas how it works. Either read Tip.It's guide, or post in H&A.

I must say this is the best guide there is, and ever gonna be. It always inspires me to start mining and smithing, but I just can't keep with it. Too much to do, instead of wasting time in one skill. :XD:

this is a really great guide, im following it as we speak :)

This guide truly has inspired me to get back into smithing. I am currently a lvl 60 smith and 74 miner (mined coal for money--->cash crops in rsc, certs an all!). Played on and off since '02 and never really 'powered' in a skill, until about a month ago when i bought 25k maples for fletching... :-w

 

 

 

I therefore, in essence, thoroughly support the philosophy of a self-made skiller and so this guide seems perfect! Am breaking from rs for a couple of months to travel but when i get back just before summer, this page will be visited many a time.

This has to be one of the best written guides i have ever seen it was informative, original and useful. He listed all of the requirements on here and if you added pictures then I probably coulden't rate this on a normal scale 10/10. :thumbsup:.

Maybe you should add that if you have a charged amulet of glory that will make you get more gems while mining to help your crafting even more!.
