His sigs are 24 bit portable network graphics (.png) and they don't display correctly in IE. They has a transparent background, but in IE it puts this dodgey grey there instead.

Yay for alternate browsers! :D

nice and simple :)

and what's the thing on the left hand side? i know one is a paintbrush but what's the other one? :?

it looks nice is firefox any faster than internet explorer?

Nice, smooth sig Wyrm. Hey, what a coincidence, it looks fine on my browser :).

I use firefox, and it owns.

Anyone using IE dosent know what there missing out on.

Nice sig wyrm, this one is actually intresting.

Made a .png-transparent sig a while back and everyone kept commenting that it wasn't see-through. I coulnd't believe that MS which is blamed for monopolizing the internet surfing could do so with a crappy browser like IE! As a macist, I use Safari. No probs here.

on the siggy: I envy your skill to create those simplistic things.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. :)

I think "If my sigs don't look right, then my hosting is down", would be more appropriate as pretty much all browsers can display images perfectly.

Entangle, Internet Explorer cannot display 24-bit pngs properly...

Ergo, IE sucks.

i like it its a very neat signature. I too adore firefox, even though its poopy when it comes to plug-ins (why cant it just transfer from IE  )

I am aware of that, but who cares about PNG and its transparency? The things take way too long to load for my caring. There and then, or nothing.

I'm surprised, seeing who you are, that you don't care about semitransparency. Semitransparency kicks arse.

Also, it should be loading just fine, it's smaller file-size-wise than most sigs..

IRKAa.jpg

You probably have a slow connection then. If you complain about image size.

You'r sig looks good. But would look good glossier.

S-Transparency is cool... but PNG's suck arse. Let's be honest... nobody uses them for what they are for, and they take wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long to load.... :)

Um his sig is 1/6 the size of your sig.

Take into the account the color and size...

Also, a 30KB GIF seems to load faster than a 30KB PNG. Don't ask me why, it's just a fact on every computer I have ever used.
