Your Favourite Software Program Out There.

Featured Replies

Heya,

For something different apart from the constant questions on Tech and Computers, I've got a simple question. What is the one program out there which you would say is your favourite.

It could be because you use it the most.

It could be because it's the only one out there of its type and its so important for your everyday needs on a computer.

Or it could even be because it keeps your computer running smoothly from day to day (such as a virus protection software).

Though there's one exception - I'd like this topic to not include Computer Games.

And once you have told me your favorite software program, just briefly describe it and why you like it so much and even give a link to where you can download it from.

For me it's CCleaner as its a great tool for getting all the crap off my computer to make Windows run a lot quicker and more efficiently. And the best bit about it is, that it's Free! :)

Post Yours! :)

Microsoft Visual Studio. Because it can make most of those programs.

  • Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.
  • Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.

I hate to be one of millions, but here it is;

Firefox

Gadwin Printscreen, it lets me save my most cherished moments on RuneScape which is very important to me!

Care to explain what it is and why it's your favorite?

Probably Photoshop, no surprises there. :P I use it more than most software on my computer, either for leisure or work.

Then it's probably Firefox, I can live without it, I just feel more secure and more relaxed using it.

I could live without WMP, I has an mp3 player.

I could also live without Trillian, 90% of my contacts are real life friends anyway.

Always read the Opening Post (OP) before posting next time thanks.

And if you could, can you please describe the program, if it's something people may not have heard of before (like I also requested in the OP). The main reason I posted this thread was to know other good programs out there which other TIF users use. :)
