When training at the quarry, the most efficient mining method it to mine three rocks, drop, repeat. Many people do it this way, and still gain 48K-53K EXP an hour. Decent for mining eh? Anyways... Why not just stock 100K in the back of your inventory, and bring 24 skins? If you wear the desert set of clothing and a glory amulet, getting new skins will be fast, and you can stay at the quarry for a decent amount of time. I really am puzzeled as to why everyone rants, while Jagex won't change anything, they could've thought about this, and went back to mining. JK i'm happily still getting 35k - 40k exp per hour on iron, so this doesn't really bother me one bit. complaining about this isn't going to get us anywhere either, jagex does seem content with the change and probably did it due to a problem we haven't been told. likely autoers since thats their reason for changing most skills... There's a guy in menaphis that talks about making granite armour, or at least customizing it. Maybe there's a possibility that they don't want granite so easily obtained for that reason? Maybe they want it hard(er) to make that armour. that doesnt seem to be the reason... there is no bank around that area... so, if you want granite into your bank account, all the difference is just 1 less inventory slot for the water skin, since you dont stay there for long anyway... 000wnage000 Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 best idea, can't you get a load in 5 min (1 waterskin(4) time) Just bring 1 waterskin, and 1 knife, oh yeah if you can use something you can wield i guess you can get 1 more granite in(not sure if anything but the knife work, but worth trying?) and just mine, and you can drop and walk at the same time, reach the cactus, so the drop time will get you to a cactus, and back with all the granite dropped. But slow you down very little. Ever thought of that?, (btw if anyone did sorry, but i only got up to page 7, then i got the general idea of what people were saying, interesting topic, will read the rest when i have time) :oops: Currently Working on: Basically Quit...
