January 21, 200719 yr It wasn't the graphics and the gameplay of RSC that everyone really misses, but more so the community. Yeah, I agree with icecube. The RS2 community is filled with kids that are younger than 13. Sadly, the majority of it is those little kids. I'd rather have people that are intellectual... not mindless leetspeaking kids. :uhh: 1+ I haven't been around the time RSC was being played but I have played in 2001, no one really begged or anything. It was peaceful and I miss that. Now I get some of the more of the people who spell with numbers. Not even sure if thats logical but yes, I do miss the early days.

Depends...would they have eventually added bloodvelds to classic? :P Also, to all the people worshipping classic's community, it wasn't really that good. Better then rs2, yes, but it still had its share of scammers and kiddies. :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! The original RuneScape graphics were so much better than what's out right now. They were quirky, they were cute, and most of all - they were 100% original. It was quite unique to be in a world like that. I felt it was pretty conceptual - green jello splots represented shooting arrows. The designs of the items in your inventory looked killer - you can't compare the art of the original two-handed sword to the lump stick of today. The RuneScape of today, I feel like I've seen it before - and I don't even play any other games. In my opinion, the new graphics look like they're trying too hard to have "amazing" graphics - but failing. With the original, they weren't going for 'the best' - they were just working with what they had, and that created a great style. Games need to stop trying to make everything seem and look realistic - when I play a game, I don't want to feel like I'm in the real world, I want to venture into something I could never experience otherwise. -GregEchidna Third player in RuneScape to 99 attack, strength, defense and hitpoints.
January 21, 200719 yr i started rsc about a year before rs2. i used to keep making accounts and gettin noware rly. anyways i used to go back to rsc sumtimes when i was a member. i then quit for sometime and i can no longer go back :( :( i loved that game, it was just different to RS2. i even miss the graphics! the community was betta back then as well Barrows drops: Torags pl8, Torgas legs, Guthans chainskirt

January 22, 200719 yr dude, this is why i hope they never make a runescape 3, i will have to start all over agian, and ps, i tried rsc right before the thing where you had to play within 6 months to get to play, i was lucky, still lvl 3 there

In fact, Miniclip is the only culprit of all the little-brain kids hangin' around RS. Miniclip is a site for little-brain kids that play those games designed for babies. I'm back.
