Tip It
(well, mostly not robots lol, that made me laugh. everyone on here is making this extremely complicated 1. scammers/ a lot of people do not care about morals, wether you do or not. 2. luring will not stop, even if it becomes against the rules 3. If you don't bring good items into the wild, you wont loose good items... just pay attention o.0 Tip It's Stats: Slayer for Airuts, Mining for Rune, and Prayer for all 70+ skills
Soma2035
In some way I think it is acceptable and unacceptable. Acceptable 1. It is not in the RS Rules. 2. If your lucky to find someone to lure. (If you do get lured, "Learn from your mistakes and move on") Unacceptable 1. Is a form of item scamming. Just that all it takes. Like someone said that all it takes is little brain power not to take anything exspensive into the wild unless your willing to lose it. Arguments against your "Acceptable" reasons... 1. Luring involves deceiving another player into unintentionally entering the wilderness. You MUST NOT SCAM OR DECEIVE OTHER PLAYERS. Therefore, luring IS technically violating the rules. 2. You're lucky enough to find someone to scam, that doesn't look at the second trade window. Does that mean scamming is acceptable too? Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Soma2035
Oh, I forgot: And I'm tired of people saying that morals are relative. It's just obviously morally wrong. The people who do it know it's wrong, they just do it because they're greedy, etc. There are good people in this world, and there are bad people. My point is that Jagex should not try to make the game perfect by outlawing anything that could potentially take something away from them. Jagex is becoming to protective of the younger crowds, they are taking away the nice feeling from the game, and turning it into an overprotective game. I thought that Runescape was supposed to teach lessons? Well, they can't do that when they take out all of the untruthful parts of the game. So they should leave scammers alone too right? Because banning scammers is turning Runescape into an overprotective game? Scamming is the same thing as luring. You're deceiving other players for your own gain. Also, both can be easily avoided. How come luring is permitted when scamming is not? Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!

I suggest you quit while you're ahead. Well, behind really, but not as far as you're going to be. Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information! Halo_2_4_U
WOHOO! In our continuing efforts to make RuneScape a nicer place to be, we've just made a slight modification to Rule 2. It hasn't changed much at all, it's more of a clarification, and there are no changes to the meat of the rule itself. If you look at the bottom of the rule, here, you'll see a brief list of example scams. We've now expanded this to state that luring someone into the Wilderness under false pretences is definitely a scam. The majority of you all are good players who stick to the rules, so this shouldn't affect you, but rule breakers beware! Note: This is a reversal of what was posted on the forums a while back. We realised the earlier decision was a bad idea, and that luring really isn't very nice. FRONT PAGE NEWS! As you can see, luring is bannable now :D The construction emote should be a person burning a bag of money.Add me on Xfire! User = loopydood ^Click the smiley. King_Peter18
Just to clear up any further arguments. A post by Andrew Himself. So if you still think Luring should be legal after this, just leave. Mmk? They don't care if you do.
