Playing through the original Halo storyline was quite fun for me, and I enjoyed Halo 2's even more. However that could be that you need to read the books to acually understand all that is going on, because it is very complicated. I recently downloaded version one and I liked it. Altough those little dwarfe monsters are weird :shock: . Good overall game but I don't know much of version two and three. It's also not going to be a first person shooter, but a real-time strategy game. So technically it was announced at the same time as Halo 3, not after. :wink: Although I would love for expansions like map packs like they did for Halo 2, I don't see why you seem to think extra gamplay is a negative.
