No_OnE
My girlfriend's uncle used to work in Area 51. He's retired now but he said that they used the Area to test new aircraft and different things like that. He also said that there were some pretty strange things in there that he couldn't elaborate on. Honestly, he could be completely lying and he may have never worked there. I'll admit that. So I don't want anybody flaming me saying that he was probably lying because I've already considered that.

trapical
OMG, there hiding something too! First off, that first "picture" of the sign Celt posted isn't a picture, its a graphic someone made. Secondly, of course they don't want photo's taken. Hmm, let's see... military base... top secret planes doing debut test flights... planes meant to be used in surprise attacks against counties with spies living in the US... Nope, not seeing any reason to prohibit photography. [/sarcasm]

xXru1n3dXx
Nevada if I remember correctly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_51 Yeah it's somewhat near it. I saw an alien in my bedroom one night. No, I'm kidding :-w But there is alien life out there somewhere, once I watched this show on the discovery channel it was called like "rockswell crash" and it was about something that fell from the sky and people reported that they saw little green people :uhh: WIDDLE GWEEN PWEPEL!!!1one It is called Rosewell and it was a alien space ship crash, it was in the 1940s and rumors say the US goverment would not let anyone go near it not even the owner and the rumors say goverment took out the bodies and let rumors spread. Other rumors say it was experimental weather ballon that went bad and others say it was all a hoax. People really do have trouble spelling Roswell. It's very interesting though, I advise people to read up on the Roswell crash, interesting stuff (well if you are into the subject anyway). im not sure how top secret it is but ive flown over it on a commercial airplane several times. the pilot even said "if you look to your left window you will see area 51" What a load of crap. You're one of those idiots with those lame statistic-music-taste-signatures anyway, so no one should take you seriously. the american goverment can no longer denie the fact that they arent giving american the full story. theres something out there, and i wont rest untill i find it godammit! By the time you posted that till the time i've posted my reply, you have probably forgotten about the whole thing. I doubt you will get far getting getting top secret information anyway which the government/people working there want to keep secret. :? Hey, i grew up in area 51, i got alot of friends there! lets see, theres blarg, DFstha, stan(cant spell his other name) Splatmother (my mom) and AYULifkuyfkjgtfIUTdKLjtfIUTdkjHVFIOUoy......(reads through quickly "yea, i think thats right!) Why do you post such crap? :| I suppose The Alien Interview really occurred then? :P The documentary for it was a good watch actually. :P Proof they don't want us looking in there: http://imagecache2.allposters.com/image ... osters.jpg http://www.italysoft.com/curios/extrate ... 1-smal.jpg They're hiding something! Look at these pictures I posted earlier, they may be holes in the ceiling of a massive unerground testing facility. This is a bit north of Area 51 on Wikimapia: Two 'mines' indicated by labels. Kind of like, you can't rely on humans but you can rely on humans to be humans. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Therefore they use the majoritys power to silence and judge the credibility of those who speak out about aliens. So in actual fact, we are doing the Governments job by making all the people who see aliens out to be weird and therefore uncredible. Satenza
Exactly, it's human nature for the majority too rule the minority. The minority are those who think they have seen aliens. So the majority oppresses them. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Therefore they use the majoritys power to silence and judge the credibility of those who speak out about aliens. So in actual fact, we are doing the Governments job by making all the people who see aliens out to be weird and therefore uncredible. I always found that funny, people make fun of UFO believers while beliving in religion is everyday common stuff. George Carlin did a skit on that. 'Granted, the world of UFO-belief has its share of kooks, nuts and fringe people, but have you ever listened to some of these religious true-believers? Have you ever heard of any extreme, bizarre behavior and outlandish claims associated with religious zealots? Could any of them be considered kooks, nuts, or dingbats? A fair person would have to say yes. But the marginal people in these two groups don't matter in this argument. What matters is the prejudice and superstition built into the media coverage of the two sets of beliefs. One is treated reverently and accepted as received truth, the other is treated laughingly and dismissed out of hand. As evidence of the above premise, I offer one version of a typical television news story heard each year on the final Friday of Lent: "Today is Good Friday, observed by Christians worldwide as a day that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose death redeemed the sins of mankind" Here is the way it should be written: "Today is Good Friday, observed worldwide by Jesus buffs as the day on which the popular, bearded cultural figure, sometimes referred to as The Messiah, was allegedly crucified and -- according to legend -- died for mankind's so-called sins. Today kicks off a 'holy' weekend that culminates on Easter Sunday, when, it is widely believed, this dead 'savior', -- who also, by the way, claimed to be the son of a sky-dwelling, invisible being known as God -- mysteriously 'rose from the dead'. According to the legend, by volunteering to be killed and actually going through with it, Jesus saved every person who has ever lived -- and every person who ever will live -- from an eternity of suffering in a fiery region popularly known as hell, providing -- so the story goes -- that the person to be 'saved' firmly believes this rather fanciful tale." That would be an example of unbiased news reporting. Don't wait around for it to happen. The aliens will land first.'
