fighterhwk
yea...but i'm looking for advice from people...since personally, i like to hear things from people rather than written guides
Foooman
You could start out by doing Lost City Quest and the Hero's Quest. Gives you access to several dragon weapons.

kingmerik888
definitely lost city, its easy and quick, and u get dragon daggers AND dragon longs! BUT the best thing i would do, is first get used to some of the membs drops (seeds.... stuff like that ) then just do some membs skills that will make u money for other skills. IGNORE CONSTRUCTION AND FARMING FOR A WHILE!!! Tis the great kingmerik!
sirhc
Hey! I had the exact same combat stats when I became a member. I think I've been member for like 2 weeks now... not sure. but Anyways, I highly recomend doing lost city quest for dragon weaps. raise your members skills up a bit too  I really enjoy quests and they can really give some awsome exp rewards (expecially when your low lvl. 5k exp at lvl 20 is alot more than 5k at lvl 50) Collect all the herbs and seeds you get. They will become quite useful later. :D Make sure you do some fun member stuff too! Check out castle wars or do some theiving, stuff like that( treasure trails are a great way of making a little cash on the side). I highly recomend the guides on tip.it, they're really awsome. Members is huge, and also quite confusing at times too. I would recomend when you go exploring take a few hundred gold with yah. Nothing more annoying than having to walk all the way back to get 30 gold for that boat ride  Welcome to members! Hope you like it as much as i do :P =D>
Mamong
definitely lost city, its easy and quick, and u get dragon daggers AND dragon longs! BUT the best thing i would do, is first get used to some of the membs drops (seeds.... stuff like that ) then just do some membs skills that will make u money for other skills. IGNORE CONSTRUCTION AND FARMING FOR A WHILE!!! No, Ignore what he said for a while. Try each members skill a little, and see what you think of them. Fletching is easy, chop wood, fletch it and your going. Thieving is self explanatory. Construction will cost a bit of money to level up so if your not rich don't waste your hard earned coins. Farming is quite easy to get into, I recommend you get the thieving level to thieve at least the Farming Stalls, if you need a few seeds, feel free to PM me here or in game and I can donate a few starting seeds. Herblore, you must do the druidic ritual quest before you can even start the skill, so do that quest. Slayer is also an easy skill to get into, just talk to the guy in Burthrope to get started. Agility requires no cash either, but to get going on this you'd want to use the Gnome Stronghold Agility Course to get those lvls flowing. Hunter is also an easy skill to get going. Head to Yanille and buy 2 of each trap to make things easy and then head to a hunting spot to get going. Now, being new to members, the members world can seem large and daunting so opening up the RuneScape World Map is highly recommended. Combine it with a few of Tip.It's skill guides and you'll be having fun with your skills in no time. These quests are useful for new members, and don't require too many member skills to start: Tears of Guthix (Enables a mini game that will level your lowest skill, very helpful) Druidic Ritual, This one is required to start the Herblore Skill, a must do. Lost City, an easy quest that can be done at your lvl easily, and gives access to 2 very good dragon weapons, the Dragon Longsword and the Dragon Dagger. Treasure Trails aren't a bad way to make a little (or a lot!) of cash. They are also a bit of fun and can give some cool new items if you get lucky. Members has plenty of minigames to enjoy. Pest Control is good for combat xp, Castle Wars is great head to head fun, Barbarian Assault is (what I think) a good teamwork game to play with some nice rewards. Thinking off the top of my head, I think that should give you a good start. If you run into any problems, want to ask a question, or would like some Farming seeds to start out with, feel free to PM me here or in game and I'll be happy to help you enjoy RuneScape members! :D *Phew* That was a bit of typing. :P [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]
Doomster
Thinking of going members too. Transport is one key factor, not sure what the req's are to do Enlightened Journey ... 20 firemaking (for quest, other routes need more), 30 farming (members skill), 36 crafting. Doing a few levels of every members skill would get more out of "Tears of Guthix", as while the XP goes to the lowest skill, it also increases withg skill level until 30, so doing a few introductory levels should help - the settle on one thing that you want to train using tears (most likely construction, as it costs and gives nothing back until many levels on) and ensure that the other levels are always trained higher. I would concentrate on things which open up areas and abilities, such as Agility for shortcuts, or try to get 50 in everything, since that would cover a lot of quest requirements, or leave only a small increase needed for many - balance, the philosophy of Guthix. fighterhwk
Wow....alot of people posted when i was gone... Anyways...right now i think i'm going to start off with lost city, and do some of the really important quests. Which members skill do you people think i should start first? I'm thinking of trying thieving or agility, those sound fun. :D
Vulxai
agility is pretty boring to lvl up when your first beginning because you have to do the same course over and over and over and over again. I'd say a good member skill to lvl up is runecrafting. When you get to lvl 44 runecrafting, you can craft nats and then sell them. From the information i've gotten on one of my threads (also on this forum), you can make about 1k nats an hour (as you get a higher lvl, you'll be able to make more an hour) and that'll add up. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~

yttrium88
Here were some of my first quests upon becoming a member: -Fishing Contest -Priest in Peril -Ghosts Ahoy -Dwarf Cannon -Giant Dwarf -Between a Rock... -Lost City -Fairy Tale I -Fairy Tale II (all i did was start this one, so i could use the fairy rings  ) -Druidic Ritual -Fremennik Trials ( :x ) Its also not a bad idea to start the slayer skill so you can have to opportunity to get the double slayer+combat xp when you kill your slayer assigned monsters. It seems to me that having prayer level 43 plus becomes even more important in members, I got mine to 43 using the ecktofuntus, but that was one long lonely night...
