Zarfay
some people dont actually like quests! how can this be! the only reason i ever level a skill is for a quest in fact if jagex stopped making quests as soon as i finish them all id stop playing entirely
aracnicos
Runescape is not a game of quests;but it is not a game of solid skilling without quests you would not have skills suchas Runecrafting or Herblore but without certin skills many quests could not be acomplished. like monke madness :wall: I disagree when you say it's a game of solid skilling. In my opinion, in RuneScape, quests are so important as skills, no more, no less. quests give you the story of the game, the storyline of the RS world. BookWorm
I love quests. Skilling, while originally enjoyable, can get monotonous. I bribe myself with quests to get my skills levels up, because otherwise, I'd get sooooooo bored. Life isn't fair. It's just fairer than death. 123Yourgone
Im sick of quests to be honest, i mean some of them are useful and enjoyable, but once you get into my lvl range the novelty soon wears off, id like jagex to add a quest that not aimed at the 50-90 combat range, then id bother to do it. kingdamo
I love quests, if I ever get bored of constantly doing the same thing with skills I go and complete a quest! Breaks the monotony of skilling sometimes. \
harpy18
Skills are oubiously the main point of Runescape, but I agree that quests are one of the best things in Runescape. They're fun and they also give you a break from the long hours of wood cutting, fishing, mining, training, or anything else.
darkforaster
Quests are one of the best things that Runescape has. Do you agree? NO. I think skills are much better, quests are good, but so are skills. But the most important part of Rs is the people. I know that a few of my friends play RS, Much better than me, all of them. BUt I don't care. They can gloat and boast but I won't care. I completed a quest. And more and more, I got tired eventually and just used the guides. BUt some do like it. i just don't really. Lenin64
i absolutely love quests (199 qp), and without them, i would probably quit runescape. just no motivation. they are an integral part of the game, and while i do use guides, its only because i have no creativity whatsoever and cant figure out abstract things (puzzles, however, i can, like on for monkey madness. very easy for me). i also feel that the rewardas are great, i even did rum deal, cabin fever, royal trouble, just so i could do great brain robbery for the anchor. and the humor never fails, like with dr fenkenstrain's allergic reactions to teleporting and censoring with kittens. If people dont like quests, then hey, dont do them, but dont complain, either. Command the Murderous Chalices! HellsBells
Quests are the best! Espescially, at a low level and without a guide. I never use guides. Even on Ernest the Chicken which is probably one of the most frustrating quests without a guide. :P Quests also unlock new areas, items, monsters, and *drumroll* other quests! :D I quests. Roberthree
My only problem is that the reward is often not worth the quest. I hate doing a quest and getting experience in a skill, I could have gotten that without a quest. A half hour long quest that gives 2000 cooking xp? ZOMG! thats going to get my levels up >_> I like quests that have good rewards, Like Dragon Slayer, Desert Treasure, Monkey Madness, ect. BTW- Yes, I'm shallow. I want a prize for my time put into a quest :P
book_of_metal
OMG im with roberthree on this, i don't need 2k cooking exp. or a ne c-b tht is worse than my magic, or a cape that every1 has within 24 hours, gloves tht are white???
