  1. I can't say I don't agree with his parents...But that doesn't make Runescape a bad thing. If you play Runescape for 16 hours a day, you're definately way too obsessed. They probobly should have limited their child's time to begin with.
  2. This is a bit of a pointless post... F2P needs something decent for woodcutting. Although there are dozens of macroers cutting every yew down, it wouldn't be fair for Jagex to take the yew trees away. There is a solution to macroing somewhere out there, but this isn't the one.
  3. 126's would win. Level 3's couldn't hit through their 99 defense.
  4. Um...I didn't do it... :uhh: Who made Postie Pete a skeleton?
  5. Thanks a lot for all you've done, it won't be the same without you... Good luck! =D> Happy 'Scaping
  6. The people who came up with this comment need to realize that RuneScape is a video game, not real life. Also, you can't really say that shooing a dog away is abusing it. Today we still make horses pull wagons (which must be much worse than shooing them away) and we don't call it abusing them. Also, if you met a stray dog on the street (a mangy, filthy one frothing at the mouth with flies buzzing around it) wouldn't you shoo it away?
  7. Their level doesn't matter. The rules of RuneScape are made for a reason and are to be taken seriously. If a player breaks a rule and they happen to be a level 126, they're still breaking the rule. Any player who breaks a rule should be banned, no matter what their level.
  8. I can't say it's the best idea ever posted, but I cannot in any way say it's the worst either.
  9. I suppose that could work...But how well? First of all, like some people have said, there would be lots of noobs claiming to be hidden player mods. Secondly, Jagex would have to make many new player mods for it to work at all. Without enough hidden player mods to control rule breakers more, the whole thing would be a waste of time. Though the current system isn't the best, it still works, and the saying goes "If it's not broken, don't fix it." Still, I agree something should be done, but I don't think your idea would work the best.
  10. Lol I never thought about that. I suppose it could be useful!
  11. The drunken man upstairs in the falador bar says something about "Giant hairy cabbages!"
  12. Well I don't know how long you quit for, but the only main new things since the Stronghold of Security are graphical updates in a few items and monsters. (The best thing about the new monster graphics is the way they lay down and die  ) They have also added a ditch that you have to cross over to get into the wilderness and you can't say anything with your password anymore. That's about it. Welcome back! 8-)
  13. I've decided to move this discussion to the general section. I have the feeling that this post does not belong in the debate section and I think it will get locked if I leave it here because there's not that much to debate on.
  14. Thanks guys. It sounds like the best way to go is RCing nats. Still, if you have anymore ideas, keep em comming.
  15. Fletching totally. It's just too easy to buy. You can buy everything for it for too little. Still, getting any skill to 99 is no small feat.
  16. We all hate it when the other team holds their own flag, but your team has the same ability so it's fair.
  17. F2P definately needs more bank space! I support 100%
  18. I suppose Runescape is educational, you solve puzzles and stuff, but not in the way school is educational.
  19. They're not going extinct, and likely never totally will. I bet there tons in the banks of un-used and forgotten charactars. However, party hat numbers are certainly not increasing, and they never will. You can lose them, but not get new ones. Conclusion: Party hats are not going extinct, but their numbers are slowly but surely decreasing.
  20. Well, the title pretty much says it all, but what do you think that the best way to make money is? Both F2P and P2P are included. Also this debate includes all levels; low, medium, and high. Here's mine: F2P : Low: I found that mining rune ess and selling it for 20-30 gp works nicely. Medium: Killing hill and moss giants and selling the bones for 250+ gp. High: Well, I'm only a lvl 60, but I imagine that killing lessers and greaters is not a bad way to both train and make some $$$$. Also, selling coal, yews, and lobsters is a good way to make money for all levels. Merchanting rune scimmys and full sets is a great way too. P2P: I'm not P2P so I don't have any suggestions here, though I'm sure a lot of you do. Thank you for your posts :D
  21. Skills are oubiously the main point of Runescape, but I agree that quests are one of the best things in Runescape. They're fun and they also give you a break from the long hours of wood cutting, fishing, mining, training, or anything else.
  22. Great idea. I would love to see the cooking guild get an update like that. I am also tired of having to run all over the Runescape world having to gather ingrediants. :D WOOT first post!
  23. Omg! Rofl! That was the funniest thing I've ever seen in the forums! Out of 10 I give it a...638. Seriously great guide.
