There's only a few people who's post are fun, and those get undermined by the enormous quantity of IDIOTS browsing this forum! HAH, NOT! well, kind of true, but I'm staying nonetheless If you want attention maybe you should start being a half decent poster! Could it be over with these leaving topics now? Which offers a lot more at this REALLY COOL NEW FORUM. P.S - You may think "Why am i leaving!?!??!" but the question should be "Why am i leaving because of a migrane? And still posting on another forum about similar issues with the same posters?". With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. There will be plenty of time to debate and discuss, but some people just want to share that they're leaving. Sure, I agree with you on one part. It has been getting a little much, and a little peculiar. One might think it's more than a coincidence, no? But you just got to live with it. If that's really how you feel, then steer yourself away from those threads. It's not that hard. Oh...Not exactly...At least at how I behave there...Just ask someone. Seriously. Some of these posters actually contribute posts of a reasonable quality here, and while many of the threads reek of DeloriaGod Inc advertisement, some people like those posters. Those people who like the company of the leaving poster would probably want to be informed as to when they leave, and these threads are fairly acceptable ways of doing that. Some people feel that the Off-Topic boards have been flooded with too much political flaming, and have featured the same posters just going at each other. Some people also feel that some of the users here are excessively mean and flamey. This new forum gives them an opportunity to open up to each other and discuss things as a small, friendly community with the flaming and arguing at a minimum, but sadly, the spam at a maximum. Btw, no, my thread was not for attention... However, personally for me I do think it's nice to have a thread for people wanting to say their final goodbyes. Yes, maybe it could be considered a little spammy - but as pompey spud ^ said, it's cool to know when people are leaving, and, sometimes, how to get in touch. Still, sorry if annoys you. One of the reasons for me leaving is because me and Lee got talking about it... and what made me think 'Yeah, why not?' is that OT, personally, has become really boring recently. I dunno, I've probably had a part in that, but seriously, I'm spending less and less time here anyway. DGi is turning out to be alot more fun and chatty, despite the arguments...
