February 24, 200719 yr Author Well i would say range but due to it's as you put it 'low profile' *cough* neglect *cough* i have to vote mage. Well when i said that range was low profile it pretty puch is. What is more noticable big hugh blocks of ice makeing a big freezing sound! Or range hitting a person one by one making no sound at all? Don't get me wrong i like range just as next as the next guy. But range is lower profile than magic.
February 24, 200719 yr Mage is pretty easily owned by Karil. Mage maxes out at 30. Mage is mad expensive. Mage armor is mad expensive. Range maxes out near 45. Range has sick attack values, sometimes able to hit through melee defense. Range is cheap. Range has one of the quickest attacks - darts/knives. Think DDS spec without your spec bar. Range armor is cheap, with its Barrows set basically the same as some Mystic sets. // The only reason I like mage is because of its special effects, like Vengeance and healing using Blood spells. February 24, 200719 yr Ever since the release of the crystal bow... I prefer Range. Gotta say though... Mage is waaaaay more useful. Still Range, gets my vote coz I enjoy it more.

February 24, 200719 yr I like ranging better, because it's cheaper. But magic is good for making money (high alchemy :)) and teleporting of course. But as a combat skill, I prefer Ranging.

February 24, 200719 yr i ususally ony use range if the monster is weak against it or there is a good safespot. I tend towards mage, just cause im higher in it...
