Grr still haven't gotten it to work yet -.- . I get them to the hobgoblins, but then they run away at half hp. I've tried the door one too. They stop right at the entrance or open the door...

I've found another way to trap bots.

 

 

 

 

 

Since they all go to draynor bank, near it is a pig sty if you put a trail of yews into there they will get trapped as the pigs will be in they way of them opening the door.

I've solved the problem of noobs taking your yews! Just log onto world 16 with all the air runners, and I can almost guarntee you that every person at those trees will be autoers, and be level 3.

 

 

 

EDIT: I'm also experimenting with other yew log-colored items, such as iron ore, because I don't have my rune axe because I'm a F2Per that used to be a member and I couldn't bank my rune axe so I sold it and just power mined for a while. Anyway, I got a bronze axe but that didn't work and I didn't know that all the autoers were in world 16 because other noobs kept taking my logs. So I'm out of logs and experimenting with iron ore. I'll let you all know how it goes.

If they are macroers, I could understand, but these are tricks that only a PLAYER, not a MACROER would fall for.

 

 

 

A macroer does the same things again and again. It would just ignore anything dropped on the ground.

 

 

 

There nothing wrong with making a pure wc, a pure fishing, a pure miner (as long as they arent a gold farmer, but how do you know?)

All the noobs that flame this should know that bots work by locating colors. Thet look for the color of a yew tree, that's the same color as a yew log. They click on the log, it picks up the log. Understand?

 

 

 

Maybe you flamers should learn some stuff before you start bashing this guide.

Good, concept, except that they're not all autoers.

 

 

 

Example:

 

"Omg free logs!" the player then goes to pick up the logs. Then he sees the hobgoblins. "Aah! RUN!!!" the player then runs away. Thats why the "bots" appear smart. Or "Oooh... orange goblins. OMG, more free logs!" The player then attempts to pick-up the rest of the logs and gets killed. Can bots open doors? Maybe a few high-end ones. Can real people open doors? Everyone can. If they're are so stupid they can't open a door, they can't make it off tutorial island. (You need to open several doors on tutorial island.) Also, green dragon bots may not talk because maybe... just maybe they are running for their lives? "He's using protection prayers, he's a bot!!!" In a sticky situation like that, most players with high enough prayer level would too.

 

 

 

So yes, you are getting some bots. But how many innocent honest runescapians are you getting in the process? Also, if you kill a bot, the person would just go "Meh, whatever." because you only stopped it from getting 28 logs, minimal compared to the thousands in its bank. But true players are more likely to carry something valuable on them, and actually worked to get those logs! Plus, there are plenty of more productive AND more entertaining things you could be doing in the process. Or if you're really that bored, do something other than runescape.

 

 

 

For those who can't bother to read:

 

You catch more real people than bots

 

Just because they aren't talking doesn't mean they're a bot.

 

Its not a big blow to the botter anyways.

 

There are better things you could be doing.

 

 

 

Yes it works, yes you get some bots, but no it doesn't accomplish anything and may just make it worse, and improve the botters programing ability (learning from mistakes).

I reckon I've killed 2 but attacked plenty. I dont think it matters if I kill them but they have to world hop and will hopefully bump into the rest of you! Or even not find another empty world and have to give up. Problem is Im finding it hard to work out which are auto and which are good peeps

Yew Bots autoer

 

 

 

Requirements: 60 woodcutting, an axe

 

 

 

What to do:

 

First go to the Rimmington yews (south of the maze for dragon slayer)..Then get a full inventory of YEW LOGS and drop them leading to the hobgoblins..should look like this..

 

 

 

 

The autoers will then pick up the Yew Logs following the trail to the Hobgoblins..they should get attacked and then die!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other fun things to do:

 

drop a trail of yew logs leading into a house just a little bit south.

 

 

 

 

 

 

When autoer goes in house have a lot of people trap him!

 

 

 

(We accidently trapped our friend in there.. -.- )

 

 

 

 

Chapter 2:

 

Rune Essence bots

 

 

 

Requirements: 1+ mining, pickaxe

 

 

 

What to do:

 

Get a full inventory of Rune Essence, drop them everywhere and then make a trail leading it to the house..(be sure the mugger is inside the house).

 

 

 

 

Then the autoers will follow the Rune Essence and pick up the Rune Essence leading to the house. Then quickly run inside the house and keep on closing both doors while the mugger attacks them.

Chapter 3:

 

Green Dragon autoers

 

 

 

Equipment:

 

 

 

 

Inventory:

 

A few Teleblocks a few entangles and a Magic short bow incase :D

Almost all autoers will pray against you, so it's a good idea to Smite them...they also will bury all their dragon bones they have when they are about to die #-o ..but if you ko them real quick free dragon bones :-k

Tip#1

 

Have a friend drop the yews leading to the hobgoblin place. stand here and let the hobgoblin attack you.

 

 

 

 

When the autoer approaches, click south so the Hobgoblin won't attack you and the Hobgoblin will turn to the autoer and attack the autoer!

A lot of times after the autoers reach halfway then run away

 

That probably means the autoer is on low hp..probably auto runs when it is on low hp..Or it can run away if the autoer is full inventory.

 

 

 

What worlds should i go on for bot killing?

 

Choose big worlds like world 1, 3, 4, 5, and so on. Remember to use f2p worlds for yew and ess autoers.

 

 

 

For rune ess luring, why don't you use the rune shop to lure the mugger in?

 

Its hard since people keep opening and closing the doors and mugger gets away
