Do they even screen people to make sure they're smart for college anymore, or do you just...get to go automatically? lol. Some university degrees are so general and theoretical that they don't lead to a clear career path, e.g. philosophy, history,... I have a master's degree in Germanic languages/literature and my only real career option is to teach. I don't want to teach, never did, but that doesn't mean I made a stupid choice in studies. And it definitely doesn't mean I'm not smart either. As for the original question: have a career counselor give you some advice. They look into all the options with you and help you find out what your abilities are, together with your strong points/weak points.
