well i got my goal of 85 slayer. i decided to get my last str level killing abbys so i went to the tower and after 150k str xp, i got a few drops to post already...

i had a lot of herbs but didn't keep many beside the ranarr

 

 

 

also a lot of alchem fodder, i made enough to fix the barrows every bank run.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i use a ring of wealth all the time, and i banked most every night, i tried different styles

 

 

 

guthan/scimmy - the best IMO

 

 

 

dharocks - works good if you use sara brews and super restores

 

 

 

full drag/beserker helm/d scimmy - guthan is a longer stay

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

all in all i'd say it was a good run.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

my final total is flat 99 melee and 124 combat, woot i can now burn my scimmys \

gratz. and very nice on the drops. But lemme give u a few pointers :P(you prolly already knew this) When ur killing abbys, u should never make guthans your base armor,becuz it will damage your guthans faster and you wont be able to stay as long :P and bring sup sets, and now i have a question: why do you have so many random things in inv? :P lol, abbys dont drop seeds or rune larges and use tele tabs or home port if ur not on ancients, dont bring teles if u dont have to :P just being a little helpful from experiance:p ive been 85 since october :P

lol i went over to nechs with a freind talking/killing while she did her task :P she was at my 85 level and has been my motivation for me on getting my slayer up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

**as for staying long i bank and fix my armor every night. i use a law and a dust rune for my home tele, i save my tabs for when i am slaying on lunar or barrowing on ancients. i been on lunar for last couple weeks slaying feels good to high alchem. :wink:

 

 

 

**as for pots...i dont have much trouble just whacking them with my scimmy. truth be told i dont really use the guthan helm/spear much as i use up the lobs and def pots they drop.

keep at it, i was less then 80 slayer 3 weeks ago. it goes fast if you use guthan, have a good house tele system and lunar comm spells.

on topic: Congrats on 85 slayer buddy. It must be nice to see all those fresh whips on the floor. I'm gonna start on slayer myself once i get my spear and complete my guthans set lol :lol:

Very nice, my friend just got 85 Slayer, and already has two whip drops. He plans on giving one to me.

my friend is usually up there on 36 i do believe lol.. I've only killed a few demons since i got 85 no whips... i only killed a handful cause i was visiting another friend who was up there.. GL on more whip drops.. Maybe i should get my str lvl up there and pray for a whip lol
