Looking at early season form, Liverpool look like they could really challange for the title. Munchester have been poor although they looked alot better with Saha. And Chelski haven't looked capable of breaking down an organised defence and that showed today at Villa. Also John Terry hasn't really been in good form since before he was injured last winter.

Out of the big 4 I would rather Arsenal win but that's unlikely really.

But Liverpool managed the start that they didn't last year and that may have an effect on the outcome at the end.

As long as Man U dont win though I'll be satisfied. :)

I'm going to be bold and call a spurs VICTORY over Le arse at the north london derby. I'd say with Jol looking to be a dead man walking he has to rally up the troops so we can get a win over the scum, it would restore so much confidence in the side, and considering we've been really unfortunate over the past seasons against them... i might stick a 10'er on spurs.

part of me wishes we fail to qualify and McClaren gets the sack. I mean Hesky.. prove me wrong please maybe he can be the right man for the job...

And his risking Gerrard, who needs a rest from his broken toe we're playing Israel not Brazil, It's the qualifiers not the final he needs to keep his best players 100% for later stages.

Has anyone actually noticed any changes to England since Sven left?

Hey, my Owen-Heskey combo was quite potent in FIFA 2004 . Spurs can beat Arsenal as much as they want, but in the end you still won't get your CL place ;-)

3-0 but a boring game with Israel lacking quality all over the field.

A friend to all is a friend to none.

It's a shame that Lampard/Hargreves/Carrick will get fit and be put in for Gareth Barry even though he didn't put a foot wrong other than not playing for a top 4 club.

I'm disappointed about the draw Celtic got for the champions league.

Benfica, AC Milan and Shakhtar Donestk

We just played Benfica and AC twice last year and Donestk a couple of years before. The best thing about Europe is facing new teams.... not really new and exciting for us :(

Matter of opinion... one achieves the other.

I don't think that applies to Scottish teams :P

As much as I hate to admit it, it really doesn't apply to Rangers this season - Stuttgart, Lyon and Barcelona in the same group just reminds me of the Euro 2008 qualifying draw all over again (except I doubt we can do as well this time :( ).

I truly think you could get 2 wins at home, just because of how horrible a place Ibrox is. Lyon have been pretty poor in the start of their league this year, unfortunately, you play them away in October, so they might have got it together by then.

I think UEFA cup is a possiblity though.
