Yet another barrows guide...No prayer pots with 49 prayer?

This guide requires you to know basic knowledge of barrows, and the safespots in the tunnels, also the sidestep is helpfull. You can learn all of this on the Tip.It website.

Do not use the free lumbridge teleport. You can't cast the spell while yor being attacked, plus it takes 30 secs to cast.

Yup, this is yet another barrows guide :P It's my first, so bleh. Anyways, this guide is going to show you how to do barrows, with the stats that I have or better. If your stats are a bit lower, it's alright, but the prayer is a must.

64+ defence

65+ mage

65+ attack and strength

49+ prayer

65+ range

55+ slayer or you can use Fire/Air staff and chaos/death runes with air/fire runes instead. Slayer dart is just more efficient.

50 con is a bonus, but I'm to poor for that right now lol.

This is the inventory we will be using:

Now you must be thinking, pomg, I thought you said no prayer pots? Yea, no prayer pots, but if you get Karil in the tunnel, you have to use some doses, for me it's about 2.

Now for what you will be wearing:

Pretty basic stuff eh? Yup, i'm cheap.

---You can modify the items to your liking, these are just what I have found to be the best.

Attack plan

First we are going to kill Dharok. Put your melee prayer is on, and make your you have your spell set on autocast. Then dig into the crypt, and kill him. If he is in the tunnel, your ok.

After Dharok, it's Karils time to get pwned. Again, make your spell is set on autocast, put ranged prayer on, and go and kill him. If he is your tunnel brother, you are going to have to waste that prayer potion you have been holding on to.

Then it's Verac time. Put prayer on if you have any left, and go to kill him. You may have to put on the rune, as it helps. Use the sidestep to heal.

Arhim is the next to die. Put on your dragon hide, spec, and dig down to disturb his peace. If he is in tunnel, be sure to leave some food, around 5 monks, so 3 for him, and 2 for tunnels.

Torag and Guthan are the last. Put on your rune, and kill them, using the sidestep to heal if you have to, which you shouldn't, only once or twice.

TUNNEL TIME

Ok, so you made it through, and are in the tunnel, now what? I put on my rune, set auto-retaliate off, and go in.

If you have a melee brother in the tunnels, you are lucky. Go through doors until you get him, and use a safespot to kill. After that find your door, solve the puzzle, get killcount, and go to chest.

If you have Arhim, lady luck still hasn't left you. Go through doors or get your killcount and go to chest and kill him there.

Now, if you were unlucky enough to get Karil, go through doors or get your killcount and go to chest and kill him there. Drink 1 dose, and put prayer on, and attack him. Then drink another dose and finish him off. Don't be afraid to drink those doses, or he will kill you.

------Put on the robes for best results while killing Karil.

My method of getting to barrows[/i]

After you get to the chest, you can use my way to get back to barrows, recharge prayer, and bank too. It requires you to have done Fairy tale pt.1 and part of Fairy tale pt.2 , just up to where you can use rings.

First you use tablet to get to Lumbridge, and recharge your prayer there. Then take off glory and tele to Edgeville, and bank. Then go to canoe spot, and get to Zanaris by using the fairy ring near there while weilding your Dramen staff. Then click the fairy ring again, and use the combination: CKS. You should arrive to the gate at the swamp. You know what to do from here :)

Also, if you have 50 con, and a portal to Canfis and a chapel, you can replace the tablet to a house one. Then when you get teled to your house, recharge prayer, use portal to canfis, bank, and get to barrows.

Well, I do know fire bolt rocks there for all 55 slayer or below, but fire blast is not exactly an option for a full prayer per trip. It is unreasonably slow.

And Ranged Crave, Fire Blast is more efficient if you don't use chaos gauntlets, I don't know how you think Blast is worse than bolt :P

Sorry, horrible cough. Blast spells are too slow to be used in a praying tight situation like barrow, hence my reason for anti blast.

you are willing to risk that at Dharok with no melee prayer when he's low on health ? well you a might brave one you know :) and Ahirm can cast spells to lower your stats and bang he hits you with fire wave, and bang again, your dead, have you tested this guide ? did you survived ? if so.. you a very lucky person

You dharok first,and I end up with around 25 prayer with no pots used.If you get him in the tunnels,you use a safespot.Ahrim is fine with good mage defense.

There is also a fairy ring taking inside the hideout if you dont mind one less inventory space. Might be annoying for camper, but 1 trip is alright.

Have you read my guide, at all? If not, please do so, as I state to do Dharok first, when you have full prayer. After Dharok, it's Karil, so he is not a problem either. Arhim is one of the easiest brothers for me, with 71 ranged I kill him quite fast with addy arrows.

Oh, and for the record, this is the way I do barrows, and I just decided to share it with some people. So yes, I have tested this method, alot of times.

This is good for one trip, but im only 60 defence and 62 pray, and 4 p pots, 14 sharks and all the rest misc, lasts me about 2.5 goes. (Without banking) I go to Dharock, then verac, then karil, then the rest, like you said, with full rune on (I fire blast 8-) )

I dont believe Kc in the tunnel effects the drop or runes, like its been said to. So i run in, p00n the brother, and out i got with alot more sharks.

A tip would be, if you took sharks, and not monks, you could most likely get out of the tunnel, and then go kill Guthan, Torag, Ahrim and maybe Verac again - Then when you come back, you can toast Dharocks and Ahrims, then back out the tunnel, so on, and so forth.

Good guide, I've read tons of other Barrow guides just because I'd like to do that when i ge to a higher lv., This is certainly the best guide I"ve seen for Higher-med lv players.

Heh, thanks. I've read many barrows guides too, and they where all mostley for higher lvls...Thats why I decided to post my way of doing barrows, for the lower lvls.

I dont know if you're still updating this, but you can remove the lumbridge teleport tablets with the new free lumbridge teleport. By the time you get back to the barrows and are ready to go back the 30 mins should be done and you can use it again.

Very informative guide. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it, which makes it that much better. I praise Jagex for the free lumby teleport, and the lumby bank. Three cheers for Jagex! =D> Hip-hip...

The free lumbridge tele would not work because of 2 huge reasons:

1: You need to wait 30min beofre using it again

2: You can't use the spell if your being attacked

The tele tablet is not only supposed to be a tele to recharge your prayer, but it also is used to tele out of danger, like if you messed up and are out of food and are about to die. You can't do that with the free tele. Also, i doubt that it would take you a minimum of 30min to complete a barrows run. Of course, if you want, you can use a the tele, but I don't reccomend it.
