Heya, I didn't see another topic like this so here it is.

-- Fable --

Heres an introduction from <!-- m -->http://www.xbox.com<!-- m -->

Fable® is a groundbreaking roleplaying-adventure game from Peter Molyneux, in which your every action determines your skills, appearance, and reputation.

Create your life story from childhood to death.Grow from an inexperienced adolescent into the most powerful being in the world.Choose the path of righteousness or dedicate your life to evil.

Muscles expand with each feat of strength. Force of will increases with each work of wit.Obesity follows gluttony, andskin tans with exposure to sunlight and bleaches bone-white by moonlight.

Earn scars in battle and lines of experience with age. Each person you aid, each flower you crush, and each creature you slay will change this world forever.

Fable: Who will you be?

What is your Great accomplishments?

On one of my characters, named "Marluxia" (From KHCoM), with his favorite weapon, the skorm bow. Every single spell/stat has been mastered. Owns all houses and the pub. (Not the two shops because they don't give me alot of money when I rent it out. Only a discount but I don't need anything since I have everything I want. Anyways the thing that makes this account unique is that I haven't even done the first quest, Wasp Menace!

Now my second acct. Named "Zach", with...his favorite weapon Obsidian clever. (For now) Now we all know Fable is so easy. So I decided to make an account. An Account where no spells or stats will be leveled. Everything will be 1. I just completed Trader escort and Hobbe killing quest.

I'll letcha guys know how I do.

What's your great accomplishment/goals?

-- FABLE II --

I've been waiting for Fable II for years now. It looks great. I heard that you can pick between Female or a male character. The Release date for Fable II is October 21st, 2008.

Heres some information about it From <!-- m -->http://www.lionhead.com/fable2/<!-- m -->

Fable II is the true sequel to the wildly successful original that sold more than 3 million copies, offering even more choices and building on the core gameplay theme of "Fable," where a players every decision continually defines whom they become. "Fable II" is an action role-playing game (RPG) that truly allows players to live the life they choose in an unimaginably open world environment.

Set 500 years after the original, "Fable II" will provide gamers with an epic story and innovative real-time gameplay, including a massive amount of freedom and choice to explore a vast collection of dungeons, catacombs and caves in the world of Albion.

Features

Choices, consequences. The innovative gameplay pioneered in the original Fable provided gamers with a never-before-seen level of immersion in a truly interactive world. Fable II expands upon the scope and depth of the Xbox classic by adding incredible new features and creating a wider, more complex kingdom of limitless choices and consequences. Players will have the option to play as a man or woman, get married, have children, and live a life of their own design.

A land far, far away. Revisit the sprawling world of Albion more than 500 years after the events of the original Fable, where you are free to explore the landscape and openly roam the countryside. For the right price every house, hut, dungeon and castle is for sale. Players can witness how the world grows and changes in response to their decisions in incredible and unique ways as they rediscover Albion as if for the first time.

Fight with ease. Fable II pioneers a new combat system designed to allow players to truly master hand weapons such as swords and maces, ranged combat weapons such as cross-bows and guns, and an entirely new magic system. These three disciplines, while very accessible, are also amazingly deep, and allow players to mix combat styles and become everything from master swordsman to skilled ranger to evil magic weilder, utilizing a single button on the Xbox 360 controller.

A heros best friend. This groundbreaking addition to the game is integral to the theme of unconditional love in Fable II. The canine companion will act as friend, compass and protector. Players must merely feed their pooch and he will love unconditionally, creating a bond that sets up emotion-filled journeys all throughout this magical world.

Experience the world together. For the first time in the Fable series, gamers can experience the expansive and immersive world of Fable II with friends, utilizing the new and exciting Dynamic Co-op Mode, bringing the long-awaited multiplayer function to the world of Fable II.

Xbox LIVE Arcade mini-games earn major cash. Carbonated Games has partnered with Lionhead Studios Ltd. to bring an unparalleled experience to gamers through Xbox LIVE Arcade. Gamers can start earning in-game currency for the Fable II world later this year, before the game's release to retail, by downloading and playing exclusive mini-games, which will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and allow gamers to purchase weapons, armor and more for their hero.

FABLE II IS COMING OUT IN OCTOBER?!?

CRAP I NEED MONEY. AND FINGERS TO TURN OFF CAPS LOCK.

Seriously though, that looks awesome. I can already imagine my guy with a badass rifle and rapier or something. Fighting crime. Kicking chickens.

Awesome.

Graphics look like a cross between Oblivion and Fable, too. Can't resist Fable's charm and swords and guns and magic. Hope it doesn't have a somewhat short quest thingy and then just boringness, though I doubt that will happen.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

They had many rants about having a short story line so hopefully they fixed it in fable 2

I hate Fable, I don't know why.

You're a terrible liar.

And yeah, that was probably my biggest problem with Fable. Short storyline, then nothing worth doing after that. This looks similarly sandboxish, but with actual things to do. Shovels to build sandcastles and the like.

I liked the first one but i didnt like how easily you could just switch mentalitys and how one dimensional the combat is.

I wont be playing it because i dont have a 360 but eh it could be another overpromised underdelivered like what happened with fable.Molyneux telling us that this will redefine the genre with fable 1 and fable 2 makes me remain reserved.

I normally never buy game magazines but I did the other day because it was the first actual gameplay test of it by a journalist and......well.....I nearly creamed myself when I saw the pictures / read the article.

This game just sounds amazing, so much better and more realistic than the first. There is new qualities to your character as well, not just good and evil, now there is corrupt / pure and cruel / kind.

There is so many little differences added to the new one which add so much realism, if you run in and kill off a town, in 20 years time there will only be ruins, not a re-populated town like in Fable. While if you defend the town from say a Bandit invasion you will return to find a prospering town in it's place.

Owning everything that you would even want to own in the game sounds amazing, can't wait to be the mayor of good ol' Oakvale

I seriously can't wait for this game, I've had it pre-ordered since the first release date was announced and have the game fully paid off already so all I have to do is go in and collect it when it's released \'

I've played Fable a number of times. All with different allignments and stuff like that. I thorughly loved it. However i've just gotten Oblivion for the xbox360(behind on the times but i've never heard about it before i saw it. :-# )and that game completely blows it out of the water. But as it seems, Elder Scrolls V won't come out for a long time since Bethesda has to work on Fallout 2 first. That means Fable 2 won't have any competition at all. Fable 2 just has to beat Oblivion. Which shouldn't be that hard since Oblivion is almost 4 years old now.

Plus, Fable has co-op. Hell yeah. <3:

Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color]

i loved Fable. bought it when it first came out and fell in love with it straight away. clocked over 200 hours total play time on it

then my brother stole it from me and his dogs got to it and so i ended up with no Fable :(

but then Fable: the Lost chapters came out, and i fell in love once more <3:

really cannot wait for Fable 2 to come out, it's going to be awesome :D

might download Fable from xbox live, to remind myself of what i once loved before number 2 comes out.

anyone else watched the diary things you can download on Live?

and one last thing, what do you think would happen in game if you were to, say, accidently loose a few bullets in the direction of your canine companion? :-#

I don't think I'm gonna get Pub Games. For one thing I'm an awful gambler, so I'd probably end up in debt, which is supposedly gonna be bad in the game. nd for another, I wouldn't want to start out super rich or poor. I'll just mooch off my friends. (YES WTFMULTIPLAYER)

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Co-op sounds awesome. Especially since all the other players are just purple orbs floating around until you join/invite them. The dog feature seems to have been focused on too much, it really shouldn't be a large part of the game at all. This is Pet Shop 2, this is Fable 2. I also don't like the idea of guns, unless they mean really simple, single shot, black powder, take a minute to reload guns. That would be fine, since you'd be sacrificing speed for lethality, just like the crossbow but actually worth the trade-off (Crossbow was just too slow to make up for its extra power). Also, the idea of 1-button magic intrigues me - How is it going to be used? Will there truly only be one button involved, or will the spell have to be chosen, and the one button is just a shortcut. I quite liked Fable's magic system. It was melee where I found faults, such as being much too vulnerable when being surrounding by enemies, or even just facing an enemy 1-on-1. Never once did I use blocking in the game, save for the combat tutorial. And switching to magic was much too fast in my opinion. Should have been like ranged and melee, where you have to put away your weapon (Maybe need a staff for offensive spells?).

Despite all this I am eagerly looking forward to Fable 2, alongside Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Those two games should keep me busy for a few months <3:

I also have $400+ dollars that I'm trying to hold onto for the holiday/Fall release of games. Gears of War 2, Fallout, BK:N&B, Fable 2, GHIV, Rockband 2, Halo Wars, Portal Still Alive, and maybe even Final Fantasy XIII. The games I buy from that selection will probably equate to $300

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Musket balls to the kneecaps! Musket balls to the kneecaps!

Nice idea, but I think a Broad head Crossbow bolt would be most effective, It would lodge itself in the knee and need to be pulled out, it wouldn't just shoot through the other side ::'

I'm thinking more of dislocating peoples limbs with a Obsidian Warhammer and then making them run for their lives, hopefully the game will allow me to do that? :-k
