Shelby_Polo
About the Beast Monster Examine Max hit is wrong (as is with Primes monster examine from DKS) Max hit is close to, or over 70 (No one knows for sure what the max is, some people say 67, and some people say over 70)(pics for proof would be excellent) -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Just a few Pics Note how long his Hit Points bar is in the pics This is a popular pic taken from our fourms But is effective in showing how much damage he can do... in one blow I think this is from his melee attack, or his splash attack This is an excellent example of how high the Beast can hit you This person was very unlucky to have been hit that high and have a Death Core Spawn on them What you need to know before going If you die, you won't have a gravestone Therefore, you lose all but your three most important items... Choose wisely The Beast hits through pray, making it useless; people still choose to pray mage He spawns Death Cores these become priority number one in killing They only have 25 hits, but pack a mean punch They hit as fast as knifes, if not faster Max is around 10 Whatever they hit on you, heals the Beast They fly across the screen and hit underneath people -Range these to kill- Summoning is useless, he eats your familiars Familiars that he does eat, he heals off of Armour is useless, just like the quest, he hits through it So... only bring amour such as: Proselyte for prayer, D'hide for ranging or Void for owning Cannons are almost a must, surprisingly Jagex aloud them These not only help kill the Beast, but also, the Dark Cores it spawns Ruby Bolts (e) are a must, but... mathematically they should be hitting 400's! (2000/20% = 400) but Jagex added a cap the max the bolts can hit are 100  too bad But the special hits very often and owns the beast After the beast is below 500 hits, the ruby bolt special stops working, go to melee -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Requirements Hits: 90+ Defense: 90+ Ranged: 90+ Attack: 85+ Strength: 85+ Mage: 80+ Prayer: 70+ These are close to minimal requirements (this beast really does own) What to Wear Void Since the Beast neglects amour, Defense is useless; therefore you should have a strong offense Void Melee helm is a good idea as well; for when you switch to melee Ruby Bolts (e) A MUST Hitting 100's on a lvl 785 Boss with 2000 hits is insane to pass up Snake Leather Boots Again... strong offense, don't risk losing 5m Ranger Boots Ring of Life Personal Choice, it has saved me on a few occasions Fury Why not? Glory works just as good, but doesn't have as much of a prayer and strength bonus Inventory Zamorakian Spear After the Beast get below 500 hits, ruby bolts special stop working Switch to melee, he is weak against stab Cannon Almost a must; like I said before, it not only helps kill the Beast, but also the Dark Cores Ranged Pot and Restore Pots Kill him fast. And he 'drains' a lot of different stats Killing the Corporal Beast I am 99 ranged and 95 Defense and usually go with a group of friends of mine that are 130+ and 90+ ranged About 7-10 of us go each time and we only get about 6 kills per trip (on a good trip) So team numbers are important; go for 7+ people (minimal) 1. Enter cave with Mage Pro ON and Steel Skin ON 2. Setup Cannon 3. Turn off Steel skin and turn Eagle Eye ON, start attacking the Beast 4. Watch your health and for any Death Cores -If any Death Cores happen to spawn, kill them first 5. Finish killing Corp Beast (nothing to it really, kind of like Kalphite Queen) -If your getting attacked, run under him and have him dance on you --this is an excellent trick, because he can't get you and he isn't after you team --If your low health, do the same -Don't melee the Death Spawns, they hit you when your one square away -Stay spread away from your team --If he uses his splash attack on them, it will hit you too -Watch for his splash attack (looks like a hook maybe :? ) and run from it, it is avoidable That's about it... like I said, nothing to it really. Watch your health, kill Death Spawns and run under him, making him dance -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Drop Log Holy Elixir Spirit Shield Arcane sigil Divine sigil Elysian sigil Spectral sigil 2000 Cannonballs 2500 Pure Essence 175 Onyx Bolts (e) 250 Rune Bolts Regen Bracelet Mystic Air, Fire, Water and Earth Staff Blue Mystic Top Blue Mystic Bottom 250 Soul Runes 250 Law Runes 300 Deaths 500 Cosmic 750 Adamant Arrows 20 Rune Ore 35 Adamant Bars 125 Adamant Ore 70 Raw Shark 30 Tuna Potato Half Keys 40 Anti-poison++ 120 Desert Goat Horn 100 & 300 Green D'hide 75 Magic Logs 100 Teak Planks 150 Mahogany Planks 150 Mahogany Logs 120 White Berries 10 Ranarr Seeds 24 Watermelon Seeds Shield Left Half Gems (lots at a time) Coins (I've seen 48k) Always drops charms, 13 at a time All I know so far... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- What you need to know about the new shields They are expensive, go figure Sorry pics are not in G.E. Beta yet The Corp Beast actually drops the Sigils, which are added to a Blessed Spirit Shield with smithing and prayer Requires 85 Smithing and 90 Prayer The Sigils cannot be removed, unlike hilts for the Godsword If you don't have 90 prayer you can ask the prayer master from the monastery to do it for you To get a Blessed Spirit Shield, use Holy Elixir (15m) with it; a drop from the Beast The new shields *Divine Shield note: 30% - or as much as if possible if 30% is more than your current amount of Prayer points - of any damage you take is removed. Half of this 30% is deducted from your Prayer instead, while the other half is ignored completely. Meaning... if a monster has a max of 100, wearing this shield, they only can hit 70 But!... 15 of your prayer points are taken away Excellent for places such as tanking at Bandos, but bring more p pots (new food lol) -confusing, I know- *Elysian Shield note 70% chance of reducing the damage you receive by 25%. Also amazing, but isn't 100% like the Divine Shield Doesn't cost you prayer point when being hit -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Well this was my first guide Sorry if it's sloppy Post if you have any info I missed (I probably missed a lot :ohnoes: ) Post if you have any questions as well \ Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here! hhankhilll
unless ppl r hittin 85s with diamond bolts the ruby spec doesnt 'stop' working ive seen 85s and 90s so 500 hp is too soon to switch to melee also the cannon takes care of the cores very fast and when you move the core jumps and while its in the air u cant attack it so theres no point in ranging it just run from it and let the cannons do their jobs and u say prayer doesnt work but yet u say when running in pray mage...and ive been hit a ton of 30s with mage pro on but never nething 40+ and a ton of 50+ w/o mage pro so maybe its like zammy and hits through pray but w/o pray it hits harder? Shelby_Polo
hhankhilll Thanks for the info, prayer wise, it's like PvP; prayer isn't a 100% protect, i would guess it is like 50% (just a guess) As for the Dark Cores, people need to kill them quick because they are quite dangerous and not just rely on cannons  Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here! Cromeus
Nice guide. Certainly gives me a reason to train ranged... Is it just me, or does it look like a digimon/pokemon or something of that sort?
ElChris
Many are praying against magic attacks in spite of using protection prayers are useless, becasue it ignores your defence stats and prayer!
gremmy
Bringing void is a terrible idea. Even if you are experienced it can kill you in seconds. DON'T recommend void. Welfare gear ftw. Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)Dagannoth kings drops: 73Barrows item count: 51GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)Whips: 4Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)
Shelby_Polo
Bringing welfare gear is dumb and noobish... If your serious about this killing this guy for profit, bring void; it works excellent Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here!
ElChris
I always take black d hide and Ava's Auccumulator. If you lose them you can get them back very cheap. The Bolts I recommend are ruby(e) and diamond(e). Maybe I gonna try dragon(e) later.

If your serious about this killing this guy for profit, bring void; it works excellent Lol it doesn't make much of a difference when using ruby bolts. And risking loosing void is fail. Shelby_Polo
ok... people don't ONLY use ruby for the spec, all though they mostly do (i agree) but for Diamond bolts or melee, void is effective. And for people that say "Even the most experienced players still die, so don't risk void"... well no play is experienced at the Beast yet, even if you are 99 ranged and maxed melee... People won't perfect the Corp Beast and get experienced until a few weeks Suggest a poll for Tip.it - Here!

People won't perfect the Corp Beast and get experienced until a few weeks I believe someone else on these forums said something along this: "If you hit 85s with diamond (e) ok, but ruby (e) still hits 70s and 90s when the best is under 500 hp" So void is not worth the risk. Unless you like Pest Control very much that is.. And also I said IF people are experienced. Chalksmith
WOW i didn't even know any of this existed, and nice to see more reasons to have high lv pray and smithing. BTW cna you explain how to get to it ?
vettro
Wow. The drop list. Yeah, can you show how to get there?
llamster
Is the Corporeal Beast's defence that low, that void is superior to black d'hide or Armadyl? I'd expect more from a level 785 monster. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:
