Official Worlds

This thread is dedicated to informing players whiat the 'official' world is for which task, as many new players really have no idea where to go for doing some of the more obscure mini-games/skills etc.

Note: I do need help from other tip.iters with some of the worlds I haven't listed here, if you the world which the mini-game/skill is played in, and are certain that it isn't a short-term thing then please post it, as all of these worlds are either off the top of my head, or from searching the official forums for the bigger, and more established worlds. :)

Not anymore to be honest, seeing how the boats are seperated there's no need for high-levels to run away from leechers, but if one for extreame high-levels does come up I'll post it.

Thanks, I didn't know there was another thread, but I wish I saw it! Was kind of hard trying to remember all of these worlds/find them on the official forum.

World 99.

It used to be 78, but it doesn't really matter now, as there is usually many people on the boats anyway.

Also, what's pure essence running, and how do you do it? Sorry, I'm just generally slow on things :P

Its when people run you fresh pure essence to the altar, you craft them into runes, and give them the runes. Its used for fast xp, but you loose money.

World 99 Pure Essence company (Fast Free Ess) is a spin-off from the Law Running worlds of 66 and 99 (Fast Free Laws).

What the essence part is, is basically the same teak robed players mining Pure Essence and trading it to people in the North-West part of the essence mine for free, therefore encouraging them to use this 'Fast Free Ess' in getting Law Runes, and the miners get some Xp.

I'll edit it to say which part of the mine you have to go to. :wink:

OT: To the creator, you might want to add essence back and no essence back on the Law running worlds.

trawler on world 116, atleast about a month ago when i went there was the world...always packed.

69 is the crafting world in al kharid.

And i always found w2 best for temple building for pyre logs.

I checked both Trawler Worlds, 116 had no one, and the one mentioned in the post had like 3 people, I guess because of the current time.

I also went to World 69 Al Kharid - pretty much empty of any real crafters, World 99 seems like a popular place for most crafters to be honest.

And as I've replied to in some older topics here, World 2 used to be the Mort'ton building world, but they changed it because World 2 is stupid to try and get into.

world 144 is the new pc world, its almost always full because it also.

Yeah, Trawler is a bit annoying to do in a group.. If you do find a proper long-lasting world then post it. World 144 does seem pretty good, and World 78 was the old world for Pest Control.

And please read my post before you do start suggesting, Shades of Mort'ton is already in there. :wink:

World 88/144 is the Official PC World.

Thanks for the link! I added only 2 or 3 worlds from that guide though, because for one some of the worlds are outdated, and also alot of the worlds there just don't look real, and must have been very short-term comapanies/groups of friends.

So because of that I'm not going to add things like the 'official Thieving World/Rogue's Den world/Keldagrim(??) worlds' until either I, or someone else from Tip.it goes to these worlds and checks if there really is a.. Keldagrim world.. (can't imagine anyone going to that place to be honest..)

Another 2 worlds have been added to the Pest Control world list, and I'm not going to start adding more random ones unless they are bigger than the current 3 worlds, so keep me informed on how big they are PC'ers :wink:

P.S: Duel Arena staking would be a mini-game right? :-s

Any mod input posting on this thread saying yes/no would be greatly appreciated. If no then it can just be dumped into the guides section. I've stated why I think it would be a useful sticky, I'm confident that the number of topics asking simple world questions would decrese helping users get their answer immediatly.

Gah! The powers that be say that this is not to become a sticky as I wished in the Help & Advice forum.. Apparently it seems that Tip.it has swollen so much from increased users that it's not feasable to have certain kinds of stickies! :XD:

I would however like to thank Tip.it Mod Kill Life for his valient efforts with this.

It seems that it would be better if this topic was moved into the PMG, possibly more useful than page one milliong of H&A, so I have to report this topic and get it moved.

Oops, forgot to edit out all the mod stuff.. Anyway, this is as many worlds I can get on my own. Although all this oragnising may have been wasted if anyone read today's BTS for August, Jagex are planning to release something which tells us what the 'official worlds' are. :|

Sorry to hear that, I think it is a good idea myself. With Jagex releasing "official worlds" it will impact this guide, but perhaps this thread could stay open with suggestions for other new "unofficial worlds." For example, I've suggested before a flax running world, where people trade flax for bs, gaining exp in the process.

In world 138 Yanille the world for fletching/high alchemy the only fletchers were me and 1 other guy and there were no high alchers.
