In the area there are 5 monsters

Zamorak Warrior

Zamorak Mage

Zamorak Ranger

Cave Bug

Zamorak Crafter

They use theyre respective attack styles. They all have fairly low HP.

The Bug has 20hp and is lvl 36

The crafter is lvl 19

Body runes ( had some on me so i don't know)

Seems NPC are being killed by players atm but in a later time when npc's are free to attack players again it would be an idea to use prayer and recharge it upstairs above the bank.

At level 75+ rc you can get around 900+ xp avarage per round.

When you craft you're ess at alter you will get a set of many random runes.

I was exploring the place and decided to kill a ranger incase there was some 0.0001% chance of getting a super-rare-secret-new-item.

After killing the Ranger, it dropped 10 Bowstring (noted)

Drops from zamorak crafters: 4 bloods, 6 earths, 5 air, 3 body, 3 death runes, 2 fire runes, 3 pure essence (unnoted), 50gp

Drops from zamorak archers: 10 mithril arrows, 100gp

Drops from zamorak warriors: 3 lobbies (unnoted), 100gp

Drops from zamorak mages: 100gp

Drops from cave lizards: bones

warriors: steel dagger, steel scimmy, addy long, rune dagger

Zammy Mage: 50 hp, lvl 84

Notes: Will fight cave lizards when no one is around, but will attack players immediately if one gets near

Also there appears to be a glitch with the mage, that causes him to attack lizards "really really" fast, killing them really fast.

Zammy mage drops: 100 gp, 7 fire runes, 1 blood rune

Zammy crafter drops: 2 nats, 3 souls (+ others said above)

Zammy ranger: willow short/long bows

The long route is completely safe but twice (or more) as long as the short route

At level 65 RC Astral runes seem to be the most commonly crafted rune.

For some reason, blood runes seem to be more common than soul runes.

mages come in two levels, 82 and 84

warriors have a higher slash defence and hit through my d-hide nicely (carrying d longs and are wearing what look like red guthans helms lol)

although the mages hardly hit me at 74 mage and +3 magic defence

examining the mages gives a rather boring description (a mage of zamorak)

and i dont remember the cave lizard examines.. something like (a cave dweller...) i'll have to check again

I camped the two Zamorak mage spawns in the southwest corner for an hour. There is a Zamorak warrior spawn near them, so I also killed many warriors. A few Zamorak rangers strayed past me chasing crafters, so I killed them as well. I also killed the Zamorakian crafters as they returned from the altar.

Here are the types of drops I collected in a one-hour period:

All in all, the warriors yielded the best drops. Alch'ing the two rune daggers and two rune scimitars I collected from them more than paid for the Karils repair costs.

Well, obviously. Blood Rune's level to craft are 77 while Soul's are level 92. Yes, it's true you can't craft them by themselves, but seeing as how those WOULD be the levels needed to make them, bloods should be more common than souls.

Exp at the ZMI Altar works as such:

As an aside, my character seemed to carve through the warriors like mowing down hay (a few wallops with a whip), while more strikes were required to bring down the mages. Perhaps the mages have a higher defense score against slash attacks. Keep in mind that this evidence is only anecdotal and by no means quantitative, nor even qualitative.

EDIT: don't know if it has already been posted, but cave lizards will attack the zamorak monsters in the dungeon instead of you, but if a zamorak monster is attacking a cave lizard and you walk by, it will stop attacking the lizard to attack you
