  1. I don't know about liking shopping, but I do definately like clothes. However, I like having them more than I do searching for them.
  2. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of it maybe growing back, so I just got them to tug the nail off and put acid on the nailbed so it wouldn't come back.
  3. It is definately, definately you.
  4. Shinedown did a really really emotional cover of that, in dedication to Dimebag. If the intro monologue doesn't bring a tear to your eye, I don't know what will.

http://www.allsp.com Every episode of South Park... Ever.
  6. That reminds me, the Dream Theater live cover medley is great. It goes (in order)... Pink Floyd - In the Flesh, Kansas - Carry on my Wayward Son, Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody, Journey - Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin', The Dixie Dregs - Cruise Control, Genesis - Turn it on Again. It's really really well done. Good transitions.
  7. I'm absolutely baffled I could possibly forget that.
  8. So I'm sitting listening to the Radio One Live Lounge album, where bands will play a few covers in their sets, and it got me thinking about all my favourite covers. You know, the kind that are better (read: more enjoyable) than the original. I'm sure I can't remember all of them, but some of my favourites would be... Radiohead - Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd Cover) Rush - The Seeker (The Who Cover) Metallica - Tuesday's Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd Cover) Metallica - Turn the Page (Bob Seger Cover) Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar (Thin Lizzy Cover) Metallica - Astronomy (Blue Oyster Cult Cover) Johnny Cash - Hurt (Nine Inch Nails Cover) Rainbow - Still I'm Sad (Yardbirds Cover) Tool - No Quarter (Led Zeppelin Cover) Tool - You Lied (Peach cover) A Perfect Circle - Imagine (John Lennon Cover) I'll add more as I remember them I guess. So, what are your favourite cover versions of songs?
  9. Never felt the need to shave my underarms. Other places, however...

He needs to go to the deathcamp of tolerance. South Park is just too good. I love how they were right about his motives for making Passion of the Christ as well. Cartman was right!
  11. I quite like Smoke Two Joints by Bob Marley.
  12. It pains me to see someone with Bill Hicks in their sig say that. "I have never seen two people on pot get in a fight because it is [bleep]ing impossible. 'Hey, buddy!' 'Hey, what?' End of argument."
  13. ... Are you serious? I don't get what's so unbelievable, he's right. Maybe not a lifelong relationship in all cases, but the vast majority of girls are after a serious relationship.
  14. Both benching and pushups work primarily the pecs, and the triceps I think. Doing pushups will help your strength, dunno if anything other than benching will increase how much you bench.
  15. How's that any different from just dying and there being nothing?
  16. Wow, that's cheesey. I don't believe in God, but I find it really annoying when others who don't sit and preach about how God is false. I just seems so... Arrogant. Yes, there's people who believe and go on about how we all should, but honestly, just ignore them. The arguements that result from this are never ever constructive.

All incredible musicians, especially Petrucci and Portnoy. Images and Words is a fantastic album as well. Apart from that, I'm not really too into them. They're quite weak on the lyrical front.
  18. Yet there is no importance beyond ourselves... What do you even mean when you say that? I'm trying to think up an arguement to your point, whatever it may be. But I don't know what it is, so I can't. Basically I think you're going through the 'why are we here?' phase. Fact is, we are. Get used to it.
  19. Dream Theater - The Glass Prison (arpeggio section) Basically, the hella fast guitar arps at the start. Never got them fully nailed. Other than stupid technical stuff it'd be the solo from Child in Time by Deep Purple.
  20. Yeah, I'm sure this are tons of people like that. And I'm sure they enjoy voicing their opinion. There is a big difference between voicing your opinion, and saying that someone elses opinion doesn't matter because of what they like. That's basically what you did, right? Basically, despite what people on the internet think, you can voice your opinion without being a jerkass.
  21. Ahh you listen to Cannibal Corspe. *Takes everything you say with a grain, no a pound of salt* *sigh* Don't you think there's people who find ska equally or more annoying than death metal? Just give it a rest. There is no denying that black metallers are almost always extremely proficient musicians. I can't stand the vocals, but you should at least respect other peoples' choices.
  22. Hahaha, you bastard.
  23. I call it my 'Triple Bypass' sandwich. Flat sausage/lorne sausage/square sausage (doubt anyone outside Scotland, maybe Britain will know what these are), 2 links sausages cut down the middle, and 2 rashers of bacon. All fried.
  24. I wouldn't wanna get into a fight with James or Rob. Especially Rob. Kirk and Lars I could handle. At the same time.
  25. I heard he was ironically killed by a tiger.
