  1. The runescape economy is very much like the realworld economy. It tends to follow the same rules and react in similar ways. So I guesse you could get a basic understanding of basic economics by studying the runescape player market.
  2. The only way I even consider lvlign theiving is with the sorceress garden. I definatly like hunting, maby i'll lvl it again soon and get a spotier cape. I absolutly despise farming, and all the quests that need a higher farming lvl than the one I got, mostly with quests. Though I might try herb farming, if I don;t have to keep watering it I can just ignore it. Perfect. And im avoiding construction because I know I don't have the money to get the lvl anyplace seeing as I havent bothered to turn a profit on anything in about 4 months, and I am a spend happy person (except I never buy food). My lvl 6 constuction is from a round of tears of guthix, I intend to get it to lvl 10 that way. Herblore I do as I find herbs, I never actualy lvl it, that would ciost money I don't have (Im working on like 169k right now). Agility got boring too. And Im not big on rc. I like fishing and cooking, I never buy raw fish either, so I feel I can actualy respect my own cooking lvl.
  3. I would have been affected by alot more things if I had been a member longer. Membership now for about a month and im already done 2/3 of the quests (for a while I was doing 2 or 3 a day). For me the changes have been in the people who play the game. I don't wan't to rant, and i'll try to not make this sound like one. When I joined, about a month after the initial release of rs2, so just after the beta ended, I wasen't ever called a noob really. There were way less people and way less servers, at that time there was a single free canadian server and a single members canadian server. The biggest place I notice the change in peoples attitude is when I fish lobbys at karamja (or when I used too). There was a time when there was always some intelegant conversation or debates. I got to participate alot, made some temporary friends and a couple more permanent ones. By the time I ot membership I was turning my public chat off half the time because the spam, stupid questions/comments, and people trying out chat effects mad emy blood pressure rise, literaly (I actual ygot it tested :D ). Now I find the members community to be much better in general, I guess arse holes don't like paying subscription fees. any ways thats my 2 cents worth.
  4. I would hope at leats some people sort of recognise my posts, but I don't know and I don't dwell on it. I really should try world 99 and see if I get HYT'ed at all, which shouldn't be imposible seeing as my rs name is my forum name.
  5. Wouldn't a Sig Sauer be a pistol not a rifle? or do they make rifles too? (NRA = National rifle accosiation correct?) And that sucks about your parents, the cell phone thing is proboly the best idea since lies can really blow up in your face.
  6. I think its lovely. I mean, look at it from an angle where you see side and front. The shape makes it look sort of like a dragon neack and head, the helment comes forward a bit. I think its just great. Maby the plate will have little wings, then theyll need to add a tale to the legs (unless its part of the plate.
  7. I like to think of quests as the ultimate skill. To do a quest, normally reqires several skills to be trained to a certain point, than you, the human element must figure out how to use your skills and items available to compleate a puzzel. It's your skills (and brain) working together that compleates a quest, the only part of the game where lvling (gaining quets points) takes more than repeating a pre determined action. Quests are the only skill which relies on your own mental abilitys. Why should the people who either can't compleate, or can't be bothered to compleate a quest be rewarded the same as those who can and do? Sure, there are quests out there I can't do, but if I want the reward enough, i'll lvl the skill till I can complete the task. I should point out that I respect a quest cape many times more than a 99 cape simply because it shows the person is wiolling to train ALL there skills, and is willing (and capable) to think things through. A quest cape says more about a person than they are mindlessly dedicated to doing the exact same thing over and over and over. Don't get me wrong, a 99 is a big achivement, but the quest cape is the ultimate. And yes I do know they could have used guides, but i'll give them the benifit of the doubt. If they are willing to take the time to do all the quests, they proboly enjoy the chalenge and don't use guides, at leats not all the time.

soft leather is used for most of the leather armour crafting. Hard leather is only used for the body part.
  9. Unlike some people, I use my phone for making phone calls and thats it. I don't even bother with text, it just annoys me. If I want the internet, i'll use my laptop.
  10. I seriously hope rune dragons are the last and I don't know why.
  11. I do hope people see the truth in that. One of my favoriter articles so far!
  12. Alredy ha dthe foreworks, though a few people are still setting them off. Happy Canada Day!
  13. Just for the record I find there overly tight pants offensive, it's just wrong. Other than that I don't mind them to much, unless they start going form super happy to super sad or vice versa. I'm a mello guy, so poeple who are overly emotinal (happy, sad, excited, etc..) or have mood swings just piss me off.
  14. I think the idea is that all future holiday items will be non-tradeable. Did you mean another tradeable holiday item? No, i don't think theyll ever do that again.
  15. I actually have alot more problems will the crappy OLD drivers out there. I was almost rear ended (Instead i didn't stop at a stop sign the had a cop car sitting there) by some old laddy (late 60's to mid 70's) who was searching for something (proboly in here purse). I mean im slowing down to stop and I look in the mirror. I can see shes not looking at the road, and shes definatly not slowing down, so I just looked and drove right on through. Lucky me the cop didnt give me a ticket for it, I think he saw what happened. I also have a huge problem with peole who can't drive the speed limit. People who drive 75-80km/h on a highway where the limits 100 or 110, cause accidents because people get pissed off and start taking chances with there passing. I also could never understand why people alsays seem to slow down to merge, the idea is to be driving the same speed as traffic, not 20km/h slower. Ya, theres alot of bad drivers out there, not all of them are teens.

No; never ripped my pants, but I did take a button off in elementry. Lucky the zipper was able to hold the pants up the rest of the day so it was all good.
  17. I don't have the recorces on hand normally to pull off a good one. Last time I did one (and the only time I did a good one) I owed several friends several favors each and ended up running around RuneScape getting things. But I do attend, I've gotten items that have proved invaluble later on. Example: This real [cabbage]y drop party, I got 1900 feathers, a week later I get members and suddenly those feathers became veary usefull for the beginings of my fletching.
  18. Best i've had is some arrows and chaos. But I havent had the maze recently so I wouldb't notice if the rewards got better. But I hope they did, I hate the maze. The first time I was there I couldbt see the doors :x
  19. oddly enough, alchohol (I know, I can't spell it) is actualy considered a drug  ummm....duh, what did you think it was? A drug is a substance extracted from its natural forum and made stimulate you. Coffee is a drug, a legal one. I could have phrased that better. I was refering to the fact the he said kids were drinking but not doing drugs. If there drinking there doing drugs. I don't even know why I pointed it out, I know what he meant, but I did and thats what I meant.
  20. There used to be more peolpe on my list that I did favors for. Way beack when I was high 50's to mid 60's (combat) I did alot of healping people witgh quests. Because I was f2p and wanted to do more quests it was fun for me, the next best thing to being able to do a quest over again is to healp someone with it (now im a member so I always have my own quests to do). Once I hit 70 cb people stoped asking me for help, I figure that the low lvls were a bit afraid to ask someone with 50 cb lvls on them for help. But I also have the high lvl members friends too, and I really appriciate them. One in particular never minds answering a question (normally where do I get this?) or giving me an Item for a quest he has no need for (fairy tale part 1, he managed to get me a blue dragon scale, a herb that cost 3k, and a proboscus from jungle clean up all free of charge. Of course I would do the same for him (though he never has needed my help). I try to re pay him with as much intelegent conversation as he wants. But friends like that are rare and take time, but it's well worth it.
  21. hmmm....yes pot does seem to be easyer to quit than most (I know wnough people who have been able to quit, or only light up every month or 2). And marijuana (im sure I didn;t spell it right) does not form a physical addiction, so you don't suffer withdrawls, you just think you suffer withsdrawls but there is no physical damage. Be carful with the pot though, i've seen more than one person "smoke themselves stupid". It's like there permanatly stoned morons, not pretty, kinda destroys your future. If I had any other advice, it would be give magic mushrooms time to kick in. Many people OD on them because they think they aren't working so after 5 minutes they take some more. Than when it finaly takes affect they have had so much they die. I do know alot of peole who have tried some crazy stuff if your wondering, though most I wouldn't call friends. Better advise would be to stay the [bleep] away from magic mushrooms and crack. If I really want to halucinate I can induce it without drugs. Well, stage 5 closed eye halucinations are kinda tricky without a little help (from some far less dangerous substances), but I can do stage 4. For anyone who has no clue what I mean, look on wikipedia.

Oh yeah, like in that movie where Satan gave some dude 3 wishes (the movie's name slips my mind), or the movie where, uh, Shaq was a genie (also can't remember the name :P )! I use to always think about way to twist around wishes to make them awful, I can't believe I forgot about it when I went into this thread. #-o EDIT: The movie with Shaq in it is called Kazzam, I Google'd it. :P I belive the movie with the satan and guy (lady satan too) would be bedazzeled. It's actualy a good comedy, if not in the nomal manly repitoire. No, I normally go for movies like bad boys and bad boys 2. Go will smith, that movies rated R and it's not for nudity, theres actualy just that much cursing and violence. I'd wish for more bad boys movies (how could that go wrong?) A laptop that's battery never needs recharging, and can access the internet any where (that should work fine, unless I have to pay for it) And 10 billion dollars. That should generate enough interest that i'd never have to actualy spend it, just spend the interest. And with that money I could buy anything else I wanted.
  23. oddly enough, alchohol (I know, I can't spell it) is actualy considered a drug  I dont drink. I did try champange, and almost hurled instantly. And I've had a couple coolers (literaly 2), but thats it. The coolers didn't do a damn thing, and yes they were the same night, I was watching hockey. As for smoking and the other illegal drugs, never have, never will. Aside from general concern of it only takes 1 to be addicted (and I know I don't have the self-control) I have 2 chronic illnesses that would make that a bad idea. Besides I hear most drinks are an aquired taste, so why bother going through all the effort so that it's not repulsive any more?
  24. Pretty soon it will be aganist the law for parrents to: change their babies diper, they might get ideas  Help their kids get dressed, same reason. Be alone with their kids. I don't wan't to live in a world where to great someone of the opposite gender I have to put on a blind fold and shake their hand with a 10 foot pole. Maby they should look up the definitions for for assult and sexual abuse. The holding hands thing would actualy be a law where it is assumed no person wants any sort of contact with any other person, which would make holding hands automaticly assult/sexual assult or even better assult with a creepy intention :uhh: as opposed to assult with a deadly weapon for all those who didn't get the joke
  25. Randox replied to WutangFlu's topic in Off-Topic
I agree. I also think it was quite wrong of someone to post that mans contact information on the web like that. It's also agains the law (I think).
