  1. I'm reminded of this: [hide=WOM plan][/hide] There is also a unusable trapdoor in the runecrafting guild. Don't forget the things that have been discovered, the head of the rc guild looking for the stone of jas, the ore from the vampire quests found in the death guard tunnels, and of course in postbag 29 jagex released the temple knight's wise old man dossier, so they might have some part in this quest (by they I mean you). [hide=Temple Knights' Dossier]Subject: 'Wise Old Man' Status: Under surveillance - Level: ULTRAVIOLET ARCHANGEL Estimated Threat Level: EXTREME Age: Old Gender: Male Place of Birth: Varrock Aliases: WOM *D Dionysius Dissy Deesus Distinguishing Features: Beard Spectacles Wizened ---------------- Known Affiliates: The 'Wise Old Man' (hereafter WOM) has no significant affiliates at this time. Sources indicate that WOM shuns contact with most people, except when it is in his interests (usually in the financial sense). ---------------- Personality: WOM is commonly assumed to be a quiet, reticent old gentleman, enjoying his retirement. This, however, is not an opinion shared by all: he is often found to be rude, headstrong and oblique, which makes him an ideal candidate for recruitment. Indeed, Agents Cashien, O'Niall and *CLASSIFIED* have each recommended him for a senior position on a number of occasions. His great experience and excellent beard are all commendable features in any agent, but he is simply too much in love with his own myth. No agent could possibly allow their biography to be entitled "Dionysius: A Legend in His Own Lifetime" and expect to be taken seriously at the Annual Gala Dinner, Auction, *CLASSIFIED* and Fondue. ---------------- Distinct Talents: WOM is known to be a powerful battle-mage, with an unrivalled knowledge of offensive spells and a talent for alchemy. He is the author of "Magicks Most Destructive", which is widely regarded as the finest work on Words of Mass Destruction ever to have existed, although few have actually read any of it. The edition in the Temple Archives is incomplete and frequently features odd fragments such as '...place the crucible and its contents within the [text illegible] walking around the sphere three times, repeating the Rubric of Incandescence until such warmth comes to the form that, with the correct care and [text illegible], might come to the body...' Quite what WOM is capable of, we do not know. ---------------- History: Originally from Varrock, the WOM has travelled extensively at various addresses, including Entrana and No Fixed Abode. Currently, he is fixed in Draynor Village where he occupies a small home, clearly a 'humble' cover for his activities. It is believed that he has spent some time on Entrana as either a student or a pilgrim - which is unsurprising as he is known to be a devout Saradominist. In his youth, he was rumoured to have painted "Saradomin pwns" on the wall of the Zamorakian temple in Varrock (source: Last Will and Testament, Fr Packett, Priest of Saradomin, Varrock). He claims to have saved countless villages from unspeakable terrors and slain innumerable evil monsters. From the scant details in his biography, it is believed that he did this in a mountainous region north of Kandarin. He has spent a number of years with dwarven miners near Keldagrim, slaying scores of trolls in the process (source: intercepted dispatch 1702H). According to some sources, he has travelled in the desert north of Menaphos, living with the Bedabin tribe. His activities at this time are unknown, though it may have involved research into various forms of magic. More recently, he seems to have undergone a change, possibly disillusionment with his situation and advancing years, which has made him decide that it's time to take what he is due. Recent footage (see Comm Orb backup #53634) from the Draynor Village bank confirms that he was solely responsible for the raid, but, as yet, a true motive behind the crime remains elusive. Recommended Action: Placed on surveillance ULTRAVIOLET ARCHANGEL until true motive can be discerned. Addendum: It has been noted that the WOM has been expending considerable time and effort gathering information on the Wizard's Tower. Interview of Subject Schism by Agent Whrenity has produced interesting results; seemingly, the WOM has been conscripting adventurers to assist him and they are seen coming and going from his house at all times of the day. Recommended Action: Continue surveillance and attempt to find more 'interviewees' for information.[/hide] Then the WOM robed the bank and is planing a raid on the wizard tower, which is the place where the rc guild is.
  2. Wow good news. besides i'll finally have another clan event to work in, more minigames for skillers, and a quest bigger than rfd. Maybe mep3? Maybe a continuation on the vampire storyline? Maybe both?
  3. When someone asks me to "do emote plox" I just do a random emote and walk away. (I just make sure it isn't the skill cape emote)
  4. It wont work. Though I like to watch the riots, I think they're funny. After an system crash is a guaranteed riot, so I always go to fally.

I move around from my back, to my sides, and some time I lay on my hands, etc. Though when I go to sleep I move too, sometimes i'll wake up in the opposite position I went to sleep in, or even on the floor.
  6. I don't like the fancy sandwiches. I just get a footlong wheat sub with turkey, provolone, tomato, and mayonnaise. I don't like a lot of mayonnaise though. I always ask for a little and I get a river of mayonnaise :wall:.
  7. I try to not use cheats/guides/etc on games till I have got through them once. Since you can't beat runescape no cheats for me. Besides Jagex would notice something if you just started a new account and you maxed out your character in a day.
  8. I like taverley because my house is there, dragons nearby, peaceful town, close to other towns, and the hero's guild.
  9. Tip.it didn't really affect how I play runescape. The only difference is I usually get on tip.it before I get on runescape.
  10. Latest achievement: 93 fishing Greatest achievement: all quests done Yeah, I know. I'm boring. :D
  11. Well I dont watch comedians very much. I like Dane Cook and George Carlin. I also watched some videos on this thread, Ed Byrne was not to bad.
  12. I use gamefaqs for guides but am not a member of the forums. I usually visit the Square-enex from time to time to keep up with new games from square-enex.

Yeah I was kind of wondering that myself. Thats why I clicked, oh well. Here is is for you who need it (like me): I bet it is just bad luck.
  14. Meh, I don't think so. The knight in Varrock Castle you talk to during the quest is his grandson or whatever. That would mean you knock someone up in the past, you sicko  Oh great, a lesson in not messing with history from mister "I'm my own Grandpa..." And with that you mean me? Cause then you got it wrong. I said that the knight you talk to during the Demon Slayer Quest, Sir Prysin, is the great grandson of Wally. If Wally is actually you travelling back in time and defeating the demon, then you have to get a girl in the past and get her pregnant.... somehow.... :? Otherwise Sir Prysin wouldn't exist. So no-one here is his own grandpa... It wasn't necessarily a true statement, it was just supposed to be a funny quote.
  15. Melee - the shadow sword Range - the crystal bow Mage - ice barrage
  16. Well surely your character cant be that stupid that he changes the past, the littlest thing can cause a big change of events. What I mean is if the monkeys need to be brought to that point then a traveler from the future might end up doing it.
  17. Wow this is an old topic, I guess the stone age is making a comeback. Although I remember when the mage training arena was new and everyone was so excited about it.
  18. People will want to runecraft, thus rasing demand for pure essence (which is under supplied as it is.), and since pure essence is under suplied people will pay higher for pure essence, and under supplied as it is, I expect rune prices to stay the same and pure essence to shoot up.
  19. I thought the resizable window would be great, after having it a few days it is kinda annoying, if I wanted a screen like that I will switch into full screen mode. I already turned the screen back to normal.
  20. I'm sure the fact is not lost on jagex that land changes over time. Since "no one really knows how long an age lasts" I doubt jagex would use the same layout for most areas of the world.
  21. If my godsword is off on loan I usually replace it with a crystal bow.
  22. I never thought of that, I have played legend of zelda: Oracle of ages, though I thought seasons was better myself, anyway this brings to mind something the chaos elemental said awhile back. I know that quote is really old but did anyone ever find what update it was a clue too (besides the museum update) After all jagex has a way of postponing updates.
  23. You're not getting the point. this topic asks your favorite skill cape this topic asks your opinion on which is the most respectable
  24. Unless i'm mistaken' there's a topic for this in questionnaires.
  25. I like the idea, but instead of these places (which I am interested in), what about lunar island? The fremennik were the first to discover magic right (and the stone of jas), so say we visited the past of lunar isle before humans got greedy and started crafting runes? Would the stone be there? Maybe respawns of every rune? Maybe the runecrafting alters are a small fragment of the stone? Maybe i'm just making pointless assumptions?
