I was born in '92 (July 29th, I got a birthday coming up.) I watched nick all the time when I was little. I remember watching rocket power, Doug, the angry beavers. Good times. Then there was the first game I played. Classic game. My childhood was a happy time for me. (from what I can remember of it.)

If the game isnt even out yet can you really say it's good? It could be like a Derge of cerberus. A lot of people thought it was gonna be great, but it sucked.

[/hide]If you ever looked at them, the FF games do follow each other cronologicly (as in what technologies that have, thought FFX reset the timeline, the one thing that has always stood out was the airship and cid to go with it.) Also I don't get how people connect FFVII to FFX. One final thing Crisis core is a prequel to FFVII taking place 7 years before the events in FFVII. Are you sure about the games following each other chronologically? Off-hand the only real improvement in technology ever was IX with its gunblades. If you played X-2, you should know of Shinra, who works with Yuna and the Gullwings. Later in the game there's a cut scene where he explains his discovery of a power source in the planet. He explains his dream to tap into it and use its power to better the world. The Shinra power company in VII created its Mako Reactor by tapping into the life stream. That implies that the events of VII took place in Spira, many years after the events of X, probably propagated by Shinra's descendants. OR it could mean that Shinra was brought to another world to create the Mako Reactor, there is one cut scene that is only in the Japanese international version which I don't understand at all... I'm only american with an american ps2. Anyway it could be before because you know that old saying that history repeats itself... If you look at FF(I) you have only boats to travel in, and only bows, arrows, and daggers to fight. FFII is preaty much the same. I never played FFIII. FFIV had tanks (not that you could drive around in) and again boats. FFV was weird and had steam powered boats (and ancient technology which in my mind implies the lost something, like those tanks.) FFVI had giant machines, Boats , scuba gear, and ofcorse the almighty airship. FFVII had cars, trains, and giant cannons, rockets, and the arrival of the first gun. FFVIII had trains, cars, boats, rockets (but more advanced then FFVII), and lets not forget giant flying schools(imagine trying to ditch that). FFIX basicly lived in airships(everything that moved was an airship). FFX was set back by the arival of sin but they still had the hovercams which set it apart with that new technology. FFXI I never wasted my time with because I hear it is horrible. FFXII had airships, boats, and guns so it was set back to around a FFVII time. I have not completed FFXII, (which I plan to, some day...) So if I missed anything tell me. I guess you could say almost every game has a new technology, but I still say that the follow each other chronologicly because each number higher the community is a little more advanced then the last.

I overlook missed events for issues in real life provided they tell me. Emergencies I can understand and this week my clan has off (sorta) for those that get out of school the end of june. (for finals)

Tales of pirates > Pirates online. I think pirates online is just something Disney made to get more money out of little kids. (because that's obviously who it is marketed towards.)

I still remember attacking a swarm with a mithril pickaxe while smithing iron in al kharid. That was on an account before I created my current one.

Wow I haven't played Super mario RPG in years. In fact I doubt I still have my copy.

A poorly designed battle system. This really gets the me after awhile, it can ruin the whole game. Bosses that don't kill you. Honestly if your dumb enough to be beaten on a boss fight, you should die. Incredibly long boss fights that when you're just about the win the boss instantly ko's your team. Pointless boss fights that serve no furtherment to the story or drop any sort of good reward. Video games lack cookies! (well most of them.)

I was wondering that myself, until I watched the associated trailer in which the guy had completed tutorial island 5 minutes prior to 'congratulations you just advanced an attack level, your attack level is now level 3.' on golbins... O almost forgot, he got a nice level four combat as well. :roll: Didn't see the video. But apperently he was a real noob. and wrote a whole review... as a noob.

Burying bones is a central activity? Shearing sheep is a skill? Who the hell were they watching play?

I think funorb is far from childish. The games can require thinking and stratagy. If anything these new spell books make it easier so people who can't win won't whine as much.

Hey now! Enex can't possibly have sucked you in yet before I've released it ;) Unless you mean Enex1, in which case I don't believe you because it isnt that good. Oh, I almost forgot. I too loved Jak and Daxer! I got every precursor orb and every power cell! I like enex 1 thank you very much. Though there are a lot of spelling errors.

I havent seen this thread in awhile. Like I corrected you before, chrono trigger isnt called crono Trigger FTW it's just chrono trigger.

The same thing happened to the guess the game thread. :lol: , just role with it. Games that sucked me in were metal gear solid, god of war, Final Fantasy, runescape, Enex :mrgreen: , tales of pirates, last chaos, devil may cry, and jak and Daxter that game was so fun to play.
