I would like them to just port it. IMO they don't need to mess with it. Even the PS1 version was stretching it. Could be well done, knowing square-enix most likely they'll have some updated graphics, a new dungeon, possibly new characters (fail :thumbdown:), and new spells/items. Though as the (self-proclaimed) #1 Chrono trigger fan on these forums, I will have to test it out. (note to self: get a nintendo ds.)

Did you guys see the new hunting gear? It looks pretty cool. Besides that a string has been added to all bows, (even the crystal bow.) Some people say the shadow sword is different now but it still looks the same to me, and if you have a cuff on your arm they are smaller now. and here's me new outfit because all my old ones looked really bad: (of course it's hard to find anything that goes good with purple hair.)

If you wear full polar kayatt fur armour when you bend down to fish a spear will appear out of your head. (It has to be polar fur.) Other than that the quest cape looks flat, the fire capes animation has been slowed, and the legends cape is really dark; though these might not be glitches. I'm too lazy to get pics though.

I have been in a rsb clan that my clan has ended up fighting a few times. I know that that one happened to be orginazed and strong.

Nice find, but you think it could be zamorak? There is a statue of zamorak in taverley in the witch's house, but i'm to lazy to post it. Anyway in the curse of zaros miniquest it was said that anyone who touched the staff was cursed, so in the temple of ikov what happened if you brought the staff to Lucien; I mean do you suffer the curse aswell? (and yay for me, who just killed him. : )

I love the idea of a fire cape trim, lava moving on the side. As to what it has to do with questing, you are always soloing monsters, so you solo the toughest monster in rs.

that could be true, because i don't beleive that the world on FFVII had a name... but, if you look ath the maps, you realise that it wouldnt be possible. then again, FFX does have a similar ( but less powerful and masamune lacking) sephiroth, Seymour but he fails :Þ and another thing, where would materia fit into FFX if it took place before FFVII? It just dont work...althouth one link i can make between the two are the summons...Ifrit, Shiva and Bahamut... which i think (except X-2( havent played it -.-)) appear in all the final fantasy games to my knowledge, but as for 12, the names of the summons are used for airships... In Ivalice (The world for FF XII), Espers exist with the names Bahamut, Shiva, Leviathan, and yet there are ships sharing those names as well. Just because an airship or other object uses the name doesn't mean the summon doesn't exist. Also, FFX and FFVII, if they do occur in the same world, take place in completely different time periods. It makes sense that the people and technology are different. And don't the Materia also resemble the spheres from FFX? I know the spheres were all blue, but other than that, the two were fairly similar. Maps can also change greatly between the time periods, or maybe it was in a different portion of the world. Ever play Golden Sun? They showed two maps, one of their world several centuries ago, and one of the current world, and they were completely different. There's no reason a world can't change shape over a long period of time, especially in a fantasy environment. Good point, but I dont remember the materia ever having movies on them. As for the colors, I remember them being green, blue, yellow, red, and purple. I have played golden sun but only beat the first one. FF12 also takes place in the same world as FFT, look at that map and compare the two. It's a good example of how maps change over time. Going from FFT to FFTA is an example itself.

No f2p is supposed to be a demo for p2p. F2p is not the full game.

People don't care it is java based, they'll judge it next to WoW, guild wars, and about anything else that people play. So I wouldn't be surprised if it got a bad review. The real important thing is the people that already play IMO. But attracting new customers and keeping the old ones is how a company works.

Listening to linkin park. I usually play my ps2 while I fish on rs but it is not reading my ps1 games and my only ps2 memory card is full. Which bites because I was going to go play FFVI.

stole my idea teh_langzor -.- . Well somewhat anyway. Well i'd have my own horde of zombies to control and send them after the people. I'd take over new york city as my base of operations, and then i'd have food, water, and guns (to combat teh_langzor's zombies.) If i'm not controling the zombies my plan is simple, take over the zombies and repeat plan one.
