Those people who will be saying "I worked hard for my rapier I deserve it" would be the people who only did dungeoneering to get the rapier. Saying that a chaotic only takes 1 login isn't logical when you're talking to them, because they would be doing 1-80 dungeoneering. If you think that's one login, you're crazy or trolling.

Interesting, so when I'm in accurate mode my attack is invisibly 102/99 and so on? I wonder which holds the greatest advantage in the long run- maybe it's a rock paper scissors scenario. While it can give you an advantage, people won't want to stake you if you rule-switch. To prevent rule switchers, spam click the "previous options" button until your opponent has accepted. As for attack styles, use accurate when you are attacking, use defensive when your opponent is attacking (You switch to accurate before you hit, then switch to defensive before your opopnent hits. After your opponent's damage has landed, switch back to accurate, once you hit switch back to defensive, etc.)

Yes, use overloads, 1k should be plenty for 99. 1 overload = 60 minutes 1k overloads = 60k minutes or 1k hours 11,202k xp remaining to 99 slayer If you can get higher than 11,202 slayer xp/hr then you won't run out of overloads. 1k Overloads is enough for 40m slayer xp at 40k xp/hr which is fairly easy to maintain, especially with cannon and turmoil. sorry but 1 ovl = 20 minutes Would still be enough if he could average 40k exp/hour. 1k overloads = 20k minutes = 333.33 hours x 40k exp/hour = 13,333,333.33 slayer exp.

The major problem is Dungeoneering is almost a forced teamwork skill. Now unless you already had high Dungeoneering, friends with it etc, People like myself CANNOT level it up to ~83 for just a Chaotic Rapier via Solo, even worse is World 117 which is FULL or idiots who rage quit the moment they die instead of pushing on, or take 2 hour floors. Now Im not expecting the floors to be 20mins, 30-40 is nice, 1hr is a decent average, but 2 hours + is just [cabbage]. I did 95% of my Rapier solo. There is no 'CANNOT' about it. Sure, it sucks, it's inefficient, and it took me a lot longer than in a team, but it is possible. Oh i know its not impossible, I merely say its insanely long to get it VIA solo, and for someone who cannot stand to do such a thing like that for so long, they wont get it (aka myself), but I digress. Once you get that first chaotic though, getting the next one solo is quite do-able. After losing my first rapier due to DC'ing, I got my second rapier via solo in 4-5 days of no lifing. Had I not no lifed it, I'd guess it would have taken me 8-10 days to get.

Okay, thanks for the quick reply. I thought my setup looked a bit different than what I used to use for stun/alching but I couldn't remember what I was missing.

Is stun/alching still possible? I'm wearing full metal armor and have a magic attack of -59 yet my stun spell keeps landing... Did Jagex change something? What should I be wearing to get my magic attack low enough that my stun spell splashes all the time?

Whip is 70 attack while a godsword is 75 attack. GS must be better right? Oh wait, whip is more dps than a GS? Madness!!!

The way I do my black demon tasks is to set up a cannon in the taverly dungeon black demon area then melee them. Gets a task of about 200 done in under an hour.

Making maple longbows (u) is like 85k-90k exp/hour and is profitable (logs buy for 49-52 gp each and the unstrung bows sell for 97-100gp each). Making yew longbows (u) is 110-120k exp/hour I believe, and you make like 1-5gp per bow usually.

The graphics are good, but it's nothing special. RS graphics are more realistic imo.

Go to the RS homepage and keep refreshing. You can watch the number of people online drop each time you refresh lol. A few minutes ago it was at like 170,000 online, now it's under 70,000.

Gaaaahhhh I HATE bugs. At first I thought there was nothing I hated more than spiders, but just about 5 minutes ago I look up at my ceiling and there's a big ass roach just chillin right above me. I now realise that I hate roaches even more so than spiders. Smashed it with the end of my bo staff and it kept squirming around so I smashed its head really hard but its legs kept moving. Creepy [cabbage].... It's 3:30 a.m. and seems like it's going to be another sleepless night.... Why the hell does this brand new house have so many damn bugs in it?!?!? :ohnoes: :ohnoes: Edit: Oh yeah, and earlier today my brother, my dad, my grandpa, and I dug 8 holes in the back yard, each about 2 feet deep, for the posts for our fence (just making a small little fenced in area for our three bulldogs to go outside). Each hole was just as much of a pain in the ass as the hole for the mailbox was. So much rock to get through, yet my dad still refused to rent any heavy machinery. This is only true when accuracy is less than 50%. Below that both attack bonus and str bonus provide equal amounts of dps increase. What on earth is less than below 50%? That makes no sense. Below 50% implies 49% and down, so how can you have less than it? By having any % accuracy lower than 50%... seriously how is this hard to comprehend? If you are hitting LESS than 50% of the time 1 pt str bonus will add an equal amount of dps as 1 pt attack bonus. Which is why in some situations a fighter hat is better than a neit helm for better dps I think you mean when accuracy is MORE than 50%, below that they provide equal boost. But tbh its virtually impossible to have accuracy that low once you get out of newb territory because all weapons give such big bonuses, particularly given the fact this guy clearly has 80+ attack and a CLS so accuracy is no issue at all. /facepalm Maxed solo set up a CLS is still less than 50% accurate on graar, it happens more than you think when bossing. it was fairly difficult to comprehend. speak english next time (: There was an analysis of cls/cr on Graardor- the link was on the forum somewhere. I'll try to dig it up. The results- CLS 41% accurate and rapier 38% accurate. I believe this means that strength and attack bonuses are equally helpful in terms of overall dps- in which case the question of which is best boils down to which ring provides a higher bonus. **as i searched for the link on tif/internet i found that it was removed from TIF for a reason that is unknown to me** The berserkeri ring provides +8 strength while the warrior provides +8 slash, meaning theoretically they're equal. The berzerker ring will be more useful in other situations aside from gwd so I'd go with that one (its not often outside of GWD that your accuracy is below 50% with the chaotic long sword) Plus you'll be killing the minions, and your accuracy against them is going to be better than against Graardor, so in the long run str bonus would probably be better than attack bonus.

Thanks. At first I figured I might as well get one of the boring skills out of the way on my way to the max cape (LONG way to the max cape that is) but as I got higher up and got to the advanced courses, I started to really enjoy the skill.
