Trigger happy wasn't ever very special. What they did was just disturbed the peace, but not many people can do most of the stunts off Jackass.
  2. Actually if you're going to say that the ps2 was $100, then the other game wouldn't be free. Also, you got ripped off considering that they have a better console in stores.
  3. No, but I did hear the story about bumping ancient threads that are highly controversial that no one wants to read :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: .
  4. What article did he get upset about? Also, happy 30th!
  5. Only noobs get offended when called a noob.
  6. It's not supposed to be special. It's supposed to be overlooked simplicity. You know, that right-in-front-of-your-nose type of thing. The obvious things are the most important yet the most overlooked. Things like peace, honesty, and contentment are the best gift of all but people still overlook them. Heck, I'm one of them at times.
  7. Psh, new years is on January 1 \ .
  8. I agree on all, but I can debate the last one. I enjoy a wide range of music, from classical (think Mozart) to classic rock to power metal (Sonata Arctica, Dragonforce if you need a popular reference), but 2 genres I don't believe are music are rap (maybe with actual meaning to the "songs" it would be better, but anyone can talk to music, it's not hard), and screamo death metal (or whatever you would consider Cannibal Corpse and the like), in which you can neither hear the lyrics, or want to. It's just one long, low growl that varies in pitch occasionally to signal that there may have been a word ending and a new one beginning. I'm sorry, but I just can't see how these are classified as music, and not just noise... Psh, I hate classical music! *Points to avatar* OT: I really don't like rap music. Rather, those who try to rap/think they can.
  9. But you thinked about being a scientist, right? I think this was the order things went for you am I right? 1. I wish I was a scientist. 2. Work hard for being scienties 3. ?Scientist? Now if the number 1 would have been "I don't really want to be scientist" or "i'll never make it" you would have never studied hard and would have failed to get better grades. It's so simple it's stupid almost. But yeah, checked the website and it even has "secret text messages service" available for your cellphone every monday and friday for "only $3.99 per month". Yeah it's nonsense. But I still think the basic idea it sprouts from is not. What's so special about that, then? There's no secret in that thought process, and that's not what I've interpreted "the secret" to be. Either way, the person who thought up the franchise must be laughing all the way to the bank. Sadly, there is. Society in general won't believe a thing unless it comes from a book or Oprah.
  10. Do you have a PC?!?!!? :P Anyways, I personally liked the game Mirror's Edge. It's on a few different consoles.
  11. Son of a [bleep], you beat me. :( And what commercial on Nick? The only one I remember it from is the Virgin mobile commercials like 5 years ago. It was 3 random guys singing/adverting about the new holiday specials that shows like the Rugrats were having. It's odd, I can remember the slightest details about anything dealing with television/cartoons from any time in my life. :geek:
  12. That part's debatable. While it might be classified as wishing by some, determination is the same thing. Once a few years back, I had a tough piece of music to learn on the drums for a state competition. I hardly looked over the music, but I really wished that I could learn it. After a nights sleep, I woke up and somehow knew how to play the entire piece perfectly (and faster) than anyone else. Call it dumb luck, move my post to the paranormal thread for all I care, what happened was bizarre.
  13. Does that commercial still come on Nickelodeon? I remember it from at least 5 years ago when they started it.
  14. Well when you put it that way, of course. Love hasn't got anything to do with probability, that's 100% emotion and attitude.
  15. The bipolar disorder sounds like crap. Considering the bipolar disorder isn't really understood and is just another illness that doctors haven't yet pinpointed. A bipolar is supposed to drastically change within a short time emotionally, the report shouldn't have even mentioned that he was bipolar considering that that takes away from the story. If someone's going to plan their suicide and advertise so hundreds will watch, there isn't going to be any changing his mind. You're a fool if you believe that your typed words are going to change the mind of some suicidal teen looking for attention.
  16. I don't see why so many are pro-boxer strictly based on the room factor. I don't care who you are, no one is packing anything that large to need that much room.
  17. My thoughts exactly. It's not like it is hurting you or anything, just ignore it. The fact is that they have not deleted the details when it should have been deleted off the system. If that is the case then threaten them for breaching the Data Protection Act, just sound like you know what you're talking about and that should do the trick. I'd just throw the letters away personally but if it bothers you that much then that is the way to go. Threatening a large company is never the way to go. Anger shows weakness and they will just bother you more.
  18. I'm from west Texas and I can assure you that it isn't any different over here : . When I traveled to London for a 2 week vacation a year ago, I ran into the same problems. People wondered if I rode everywhere on a horse and if I had a holster for a gun :wall: . Texas!: Because NASA is run by idiots!!! #-o As for the rest of the issue, you pretty much hit the nail on the head.
  19. Exactly. It makes sense because it is true. Think about losing and you will lose, think about winning and you will have better propability of winning. Positive feelings bring positiviness around you and negative feelings bring negative things around you, quite simple. It's hollywood. Ofcourse it is shouting its message with hollywoodish way. I don't think there were any mentions of "mystical forces" in the video. Ofcourse you don't win lottery just by thinking you will win lottery, but because you are thinking that, you are thinking about lottery all the time and that makes you buy lottery ticket = you have better chance in winning lottery that if you wouldn't be thinking about winning lottery. That's not true. Sure, buying more lottery tickets obvious means you will have a better chance at winning. However, your chance isn't affected whether your thinking about winning or not. As for the thinking positive idea, you're a fool if you believe that being in a good mood will help me win the jackpot in vegas, let alone change the probability of it happening. People tend to notice more winning going on when they're happing just as those who are in a bad mood see their losing. Mood might change it when in a game of physical or mental strength, but certainly not probability.
  20. Just 1 letter?! Be right back, off to empty my spam folder. I think it has about 500 messages in it now...
  21. Those aren't stupid, just being a dousche. Me: Took a bribe.
  22. Less Christmas threads.
