December 3, 200817 yr I find it laughable whenever someone calls me a noob tbh. If it bothers you that much use your ignore list more, but I can guarantee you that it will fill up pretty fast. If it's really that bad I suggest you turn your chat to friends or off so you don't have to deal with it at all. I promise you that Jagex will never make the word 'noob' reportable though. December 3, 200817 yr Am I offended when I am called a Noob? No. Not only that... but I don't even use the term anymore. People in the game have used it so much incorrectly that it is now rendered useless when you use it in correct terms. I personally think of the term 'Noob' to be someone who is new and not familiar with something. In other words, they are new to the game. I don't think of it as an offensive term. People in the game have however made it to be an offensive word. I believe the actual meaning and the new (player-made) meaning is the difference between Jagex saying it is not offensive and you feeling offended by it. I don't mean to offend anyone in the game. Even if for some reason someone angers me and I am unable to laugh it off I still would not resort to the term 'Noob', because that would make me a hypocrite.
