I don't like christmas, nothing to do with what it stands for in anyone's mind. Also, change the line about democracy being for the overall good of the people, it just doesn't sound right.

finally dinged 71 today. Grouped with a random guildy that I saw and we quested for over 5 hours. Not even halfway to 72 though :(

Depends where you live. Here in Texas, most of the people that own bigger cars need them for their job. I still cringe every time I see the cheerleader with a pink hummer, though. *shiver*.

Then how do you expect us to help. You've said everything you could, she's out of state and you don't even know where to reach her for outside help.

On the whole, I'd say it's negative. I think laws are necessary to restrict freedom somewhat so that the majority of people can do the majority of what they want the majority of the time, so long as the freedoms of others are impinged as little as possible. It's a matter of getting the balance right, essentially. ie democracy ;)

Then I'd simply not visit them, particularly in view of the stuff in the next paragraph, but also in general, I live in a democracy, and I supposrt democracy. if you make your house a dictatorship i will not go there. I realise this to many people is a strange idea, but think about it, think about how you would view a country with those sort of rules and whether or not thats actually a system you want in place in your very home. I was raised in a culture where hospitality was a major feature, in my parents house the guest was almost king for a day, now I dont go that far myself, but having everyone present to be part of the decision making process at any time is not an unreasonable way of living. I hope you understand. This is what makes people see you as a jerk. Sure, your guests were king in your house when they stayed over, because that's being hospitable. However, being hospitable doesn't mean you suddenly lose authority in your house. If you refuse to go to someone's house because they won't let you smoke inside of it claiming that they're being rude and unhospitable, then yes, you are a selfish jerk. Also, you can't compare a country to a house. A country holds millions of people over thousands of miles. In an average household of 4, if 1 person smokes, the entire family is affected for days or weeks.

Why not? When I invite someone over to my house, I expect them not to stink up my house and irritate my lungs. When I go out to eat my dinner in a restaurant, I expect to be able to enjoy my dinner just as anyone else should without having to inhale irritating smoke. Even if it is your house and you are a smoker, you should put out your cigarette. Many people are bothered by it and can't stand the smell/health risks. Smoking isn't a primary function, if a restaurant is full of people and 1 person is smoking, you can't expect all of those people to walk outside to get fresh air. It's common courtesy, which sadly many people don't care about these days.

Maybe the parent's need to raise children who know what's right an what's wrong on the internet. parent's need to trust children without being Nieve, unless you have a really smart child who can delete there history, you can look at what there doing. A child like me? I deleted my history ever since I was introduced to computers. I only got caught when they walked into a screen full of porn. Expecting your child to not do anything bad is foolish, I was taught what was wrong with the internet but I didn't listed. You know why? because I was a child that didn't care about anything that was told to me.

Are you serious? You expect parents to hang over their kids' shoulders every second they're on the internet? Boohoo, you get blocked and can't [bleep] as easily. As for shoving the entire over protective parent label, not cool.

About to get back to playing, I've been sick with 3 different things for the past 3 weeks. 71 here I come!!! Btw, grats on the 4000th post krisc :P

Guys, guys, I never said I was looking to pay for it :anxious: . And I need a guide to make it quicked for me. I don't have time to be playing much but my guild is strict on the deadline to max out before we start raiding :cry: . Not to mention that I'm a slow leveler anyways :oops: .

I'm somewhat glad this update doesn't offer much of an expansion. I joined post BC so I'm looking to catch up, maybe raise a second toon to 70.

I don't know, you can't take a simple GM's word for all of blizzard. After all, blizz has hundreds of them and most know very little about the game. That person might have been fired for saying that without looking into it. Either way, blizz is screwed.
