  1. Only in those extreme situations would I agree with vegetarians.
  2. Or kranked, you simply walk off with the money, and you don't even need to go into the store, if they are younger its more simple to do it, beleive or not my dad did it all the time. I'm 16, most kids I do it to are 15. A group of 15 year olds could thrash me around if they saw me just walking off with their money. Also it's better to build a reputation as a nice guy than a thief among people, pretend to be the nice guy but be the thief ;) Promising to perform an illegal act for minors and stealing their money/trust is utter [bleep]ry.
  3. Freakyhair, can you just take your hippie [cabbage] to 4chan and leave us alone? Anywho, it's too bad for the species. Survival of the fittest.
  4. xenu.net That site will explain everything.
  5. Stay away from internet business. They rarely work and are hard to take seriously if they don't have intense traffic.
  6. Neither, never compromise a friendship over a silly high school relationship.
  7. I bet you'd like them if they were winners.
  8. You're be a huge jerk if you didn't take her back after she said she was sorry to your face and cried about it all day. Besides, you're only 15 and it isn't a serious relationship, forgive her and get on with life.
  9. tye dye was never really popular, a major stereotype. During the 60's, the hippies just wore a lot of junk.
  10. 11 year old-Elementary school, innocent, still a child. 16-High school, driving, mature. At that age, the difference might as well be 50 years, no one considers that okay. 100-old, mature, old 95-old, mature, old The opinions should definitely change as age progresses. Some university should do some huge study and make a chart :anxious: .
  11. its not. i know 9/11 is a touchy issue but live and let live, there was a reason that they bombed america you know.. if we carry on (which we are) attacking them then whens it going to end? 'an eye for an eye and the whole world is blind' revenge may be for a lot of people part of human nature, but its not and shouldnt be. human nature isnt the same now that we have reached this level of intelligence, its not actually human nature just the way some of us think it is. i beleive a lot of people are very misguided in their views, some probally think i am, but i hate violence, anger, greed, suffering of any living thing. if someone killed my mother i'd be distraught, i'd want revenge but i wouldn't try to get the offender killed, i'd want them to realise how much pain they've caused and for me that is enough revenge. and at the end of the day these people have had a lot more suffering than greedy self involved americans(Stereotyped tot he max but yeah). live with it, learn to forgive and to look at why it happened, more war won't help .. Do you really think ignoring a terrorist is going to stop them from bombing? This isn't the 60's, it's time to step up and fight for what's yours. The world will never be war free, it only takes 1 terrorist to mess that up and it's time to accept that.
  12. Very nicely put, you made me realize how hypocritical some people can be. I always thought of them as just being jealous, but now I see it from a different perspective. Great read :). (By the way, I'm a tall guy that's very skinny.)
  13. Don't blame limewire because you download something off of there, that's just childish. But yes, I do download music onto the computer (never off of it). I blame no one but myself.
  14. 1 is bad for you.
  15. No, that was Trapical. As for the thread in general, it just goes to show how common cancer is for people. When you consider the stats, cancer is right up there among the leading causes of death in the world. All the more reason to try and find a cure. Cancer rates aren't really skyrocketing. More people are getting cancer these days just because people are living longer. Just wanted to clarify that for some people thinking it's speading like ebola in the jungle. :geek:
  16. I hardly trained my professions until 70. Money comes too slow at lower levels and should be used to buy a mount. Once you're level 70 and can make 100g in one hour, you can farm levels much faster. Remember, gathering herbs is much more efficient when on an epic mount \ . To test it, my friend timed how many hours he spent training tailoring to 375 while leveling to 70. Needless to say, he wasted most of his money and time. At 70, I went from roughly level 100-375 in the span of a few hours.
  17. Yes, and I still do. I hate the show Heroes  . Ever notice how the city Odessa in that show looks? I'll give you a hint, there's no mountains and no secret lab.
  18. I think they did something like that on "Hey, Arnold!". They turned it into a card house or something. Around here, pumpkins are only stolen at halloween, and then promptly smashed. But then again, we don't exactly have 450 lb pumpkins growing in our backyards. Yep, Stinky grew a giant pumpkin in one week and carved it out to play cards in at the end of the episode. "Okay boys, the name of the game is Gin Rummy." "But I want to play something else!" "Nope, my pumpkin, my rules."
  19. We didn't do anything amazing like the egyptians, they will look at us in pity. #-o
  20. Never make a wisecrack if you say a mistake. Simply say "excuse me, " and continue on. When people interrupt a story to correct a minor mistake, it takes away from the speech.
  21. I know quite a few parents who basically stop supporting their kids around 16/17 years old. The only things they'll provide them with are necessities (food/shelter) and the kids have to go get jobs if they want to be able to have gas in their cars, pay for insurance, go out with friends, etc. It's hard to cut back on a job when you need money and cutting back on school is not an option. While I believe high schools are merely the gov'ts way of getting us ready for minimum wage jobs (if we choose not to futher our education), it's still important to graduate if you plan on making it in the world without working your [wagon] off only to dig yourself a deeper hole. That's almost abandonment :| But I guess it's better then having a parent who tries to be your best friend, instead of a parent figure-person. That's how it should be. I'm sick of seeing cheerleaders driving up to school in pink hummers (yes, really) while having no job. Using daddys credit card to go shopping every weekend makes me sick.
  22. Even if you take away the MSNBC poll, you still have 2 other major networks giving the same poll results. Even Fox News, which is to Conservatives as MSNBC is to liberals, has Biden winning. edit: Biden is also winning the online poll at Townhall.com, which advertises itself as a website for Republican Politics and Conservative Issues. [hide=]Who won Thursday night's VP debate? Joe Biden (57 %) Sarah Palin (41 %) Tie (2 %)[/hide] I don't think that online polls should be used as a reference for something as big as an election. Let's face it, a major portion of republicans are the older generation that don't use computers all the time while a major portion of democrats are the hip, younger kids. If anyone here solely looks to the internet polls to see who is winning, they could be sorely mistaken on the outcome.
  23. Anyone with the kind of monetary stake in the outcome of the election should have recused themselves from a position like that. I think she was pretty fair though. And those aren't very good questions. If you are a debate moderator you are not supposed to ask loaded questions. That's what I was thinking. You were just asking loaded questions that wouldn't mean anything. The moderator did just fine.
  24. The stations that I flipped to at the end all said that Palin "won" the debate. Did anyone's say Biden did?
  25. The class is overrated, especially in high school. The class always fills up because everyone thinks that they're going to learn how to mess with peoples' minds. :?
