You answered why there is no need for the age capes in your post. Untradeable holiday items already do such. As for a shop selling an unlimited amount of rares, terrible idea. Just like every other item in a runescape shop, the value of those items decrease significantly due to their excess amount (and hardly any leaving the game) which is unfair to those rich players who own several rares.

Although I don't enjoy replying to posts that hijack other peoples thread, those of us that are talking with you in your thread don't believe in that at all, it's actually generally those that think that phats and other rares are unfair. On topic, I wish that runescape had untradeable sets of gear similar to World of Warcraft. However, runescape would have a hard time adjusting to the raid setting that warcraft has, considering that each class has different types of armor that are useful to them. They could, however, make general pieces of armor such as "Awesome Gloves 1" that you could trade in for equivalent gloves that help either melee, range, or mage. And if you get the entire set of that, you get a slight bonus in armor or skill.

I'm a junior actually, but the entire test (except for the 3 open-ended questions) was extremely easy. I'd be disappointed with myself if I missed more than 2 questions.

This is the beauty of an online debate: it gives you time to think about your own perspective. The most influential changes in my beliefs come from taking the time to mull them over (often in response to something I see/hear/discover/etc). I find that rapid-fire verbal debates all too often devolve into a mere defense of your own fixed beliefs, rather than an attempt to analyze and discuss the different perspectives. Just my two cents. That's true, but sadly many don't debate that way or accept my style of debating. Since I choose not to research data thoroughly (not that I don't know my subject generally, I just don't go and read up on more articles before posting) and post links to articles left and right, I'm often considered a poor debater that lacks the skill to research information. It honestly just really irritates me when I can lose a debate to a 12 year old just because he has the "skill" to link to an article and repeat everything that person says. Also, in real life debates, people respect opinions more and (obviously) don't ridicule or insult you much like what happens on the internet frequently. Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I believe that arguing should be done face to face, where a reputation really matters and you can't just yell at a person before running off.

Do you and everyone that agrees with you lack the brain cell that helps you understand that the whole point of holiday items is to show you were there for the event? Got a source for that? I would have thought that if the only intention was to show you were there, you'd get a plain old receipt instead of a funny hat. My impression was that the rewards are meant to be fun little toy-type things for your personal enjoyment. And santa hats, h'ween masks, easter eggs, pumpkins, party hats, and cornucopias seem to contradict you. So...source? :-s Well considering that you can't wear a receipt and many players (including myself) only log on during holidays to get the item; yes, they can be used to show how old your account is. That cape idea is just stupid and pointless when there are already items like the scythe and bunny ears to do that job. @ binni: Sorry I didn't make that clear, I actually meant for that to be from the perspective of a person such as the OP, I'm totally against that mindset.

That was the moment when things got interesting. No, macroers kept us normal players skilling profitably and doing what we enjoy. Most people didn't realize that they were actually the wheels turning the game. When they were taken out, that's when the extreme whining began :x . Although macroers were wrong in what they did, they really weren't so bad as we all thought :? .

Although I disagree entirely with your first statement, I believe you are on the right track with the rest. Rares were meant to be a fun item and even though they are worth millions now, that is no reason to remove an item from the game. "If person A got an item too easily, then persons B C and D should all get the same amount too or take away person A's!"

:lol: Oh your serious? I found runescape to be way funner 2 years ago but that is purely opinion. That said, there are still fun things to do.
