  1. +1 on what Tripsis said ^ up there... I don't think I could have said it better myself. Simplified (with a squirrelish pun) though, the RS Media Board basically gives RS Nuts a place to chat, and keeps them out of the hair of the Non-RS Nuts... Definitely a better forum layout for all there. :) On the other hand, I could kill in regard to moving the bugs into RS Gen. Disc. ... The RS Sugg. was better as RS Bugs&Sugg. because it always seemed to hold a higher quality due to having both in one place... Moving the bugs out has sent both to hell, either because of buried threads, or an overload of quality-less threads flooding in suddenly. <_< ~D. V. "One good, one bad... you've got room to improve." 2. Two things... One is a severe hesitation, trying to time a post right to get the "1" or "zero" slots. Two, the mad scramble when someone does finally post, as it means no one will have posted in a while. And it will be likely that I'll be the one who sets everyone else into that mad scramble. :P 4593 ~Mr. D. V. "Yeah, that will be the fun part." Devnull (p.s.: I'll be the one enjoying ganking several people afterward for [bleep]ing the count up on the way to the finish.)
  3. Wow... Like I couldn't see this coming a mile off... <_< Alright, you crazy joker... Here's a killer: Windows 7 --- Have to pay an "arm and a leg"-worth of $$$ to buy and use it. Ubuntu --- 100% free. :D Winner: Ubuntu  It just isn't a very tough choice when you can be gouged for just getting the software to initially run and use your PC. :ugeek: ~Mr. D. V. "Hmph... 'Nuff said." Devnull (p.s.: Not a Linux bigot here, albeit I'm gonna have to learn Linux... Using Windows XP as I type this... Just really [bleep] mad at MicroSoft for all their failures, ranging from over-inflated prices to [bleep] malware-enabling security holes. Can you say "Swiss Cheese"?)
  4. Let me guess, the death penalty for breaking this one? Nah, I'd bet the penalty is "Electrocution back into life", seeing as you're already dead. :P ~D. V. "LOL" Devnull
  5. Because I'm F2P, I dump them solely into Prayer due to the difficulty of training that on F2P... I'll only dump them into another skill if I need to for some devastatingly major reason. Close seconds for me are RuneCrafting, Constitution, and Smithing. :geek: ~D. V. Devnull
  6. Not-so-sunny West USA ... Still waking up, darn it. <_< 4602 ~D. V. "Grrrngh..." Devnull
  7. <*Gets more envy, goes hunting for thumbdrive to put a Live DVD on*> AHA! Found it! |^_^| <*Looks at package and facepalms*> D'oh! It ain't big enough! #-o <*sighs and sits back in the chair he's in*> Looks like I'll have to find a bigger thumbdrive. I'll catch up one of these days... :( ~D. V. 8. Page made me LOL  ... I'll have to read more later. :P ~D. V. "ROFLMAO!" Devnull
  9. HD Mode? (If not, no "jawdrops of envy" for you! :-P ...) ~D. V. "Just curious..." Devnull
  10. 4606 ... 9 pm ... *Yawn* ... Sleepy again ... ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz............ -_- ~D. V. "ZZZzzz..." Devnull
  11. A little surprised they didn't make a thread for you, though. Crew typically get an announcement on the website since that's their area of expertise ;) --- Saw that, went here to see if I could find a matching thread to put my mental $0.10 in ... Didn't find one, replied to Dark_Aura here ... <*falls over in shock from Tripsis sneaking up on him*> ~D. V. "Yikes, it's a female ninja!" Devnull
  12. The stat calculating feature only works when all of your P2P skills are ranked except for one. Aww... :( Any chance you could make it work for F2P also, by analyzing the sig type and then checking and handling stat data based off of that, please? I'm pretty sure there would be a bunch of happy F2P (and likely Ex-P2P) people if you did that. :) Just for the note of it, my exp amounts are all filled in except for one also, which means that could be easily calculated too. I sense this somehow could also be done with goal sigs as well. |^_^| ~D. V. "F2P could use it too!" Devnull
  13. Congratulations to you too for making the Website Crew! A little surprised they didn't make a thread for you, though. BTW, come to "CountDown From 15K @ http://forum.tip.it/topic/77423-countdown-from-15k/" or I will haunt you. ~Mr. D. V. "Enjoy being a Crewbie!" Devnull
  14. 4611 ... Spending my day out cold ... Damnit, I hate when that happens. <_< ~D. V. "Uhnnnng...." Devnull
  15. Looks good. I'd say you've managed to make something that will be useful all across the web for some time to come. ~D. V. "Well done!" Devnull
  16. @ Tripsis --- Alright... Cool... :^_^: This made me laugh out loud. Priceless. ~D. V. Devnull
  17. Given what I've read in this thread, I'm going to initially assume the person in need of the video card has AGP slots, and doesn't want to be doing harmful overclocking unnecessarily. :geek: For which, I'm going to recommend the BFG Tech NVidia GeForce 7300 GT 512MB AGP card as the best option. I'm using one myself with a Dell Optiplex GX260R, and loving how it does RuneScape and many other games I like at reasonable resolutions such as 1280x800 ... Albeit that I normally don't even push it that hard and only usually use 1024x768, seeing as I'm using a 2nd monitor at 1024x768 simultaneously. <3: BTW, here's a link to buy one from NewEgg.com, and a link to buy the PCI-E version if my assumption about slots was wrong. And you won't need a monster power supply to handle this video card. It does well in tandem with a 430W PWS just fine. B) Long and short, if you buy a card that does what you want/need, gives you good performance, and didn't cost you an arm-and-a-leg, then you've picked the right card for some time to come. ~D. 18. I wasn't saying you absolutely had to move it. I was just responding to what cowmaster187 said about it. Sorry for any confusion/annoyance. :( Slightly off-topic: BTW, isn't the signature system supposed to figure out a user's missing level if only one remains that didn't get filled in? I just checked my lite feed, and given that I'm 100% F2P and using an F2P sig, it should have realized that I only have Dungeoneering that isn't being delivered. Don't know if that portion was implemented for the F2P sig code, but I thought I'd ask. :anxious: ~D. V. "Me and my crazy brain... Ergh..." Devnull
  19. 4626 ... Now if only my insides weren't giving me hell. :-X ~D. V. "Ugh..." Devnull
  20. IMO, you did PRO EPIC in making that. B) However, you may wish to make an alternate version with a Dark Green Background in place of the transparency. Perhaps even with a gentle gradient at the edges. It would help with those forum color schemes in which the signature image would be severely disrupted by white/light/similar backgrounds, such as with something darker than "Deflection" or the "IP.Board" theme. :geek: BTW, it looks fine on the "Tip.It Theme" selection. ~D. V. "Just my friendly mental $1 on the matter." Devnull
  21. This would possibly explain why my own Dungeoneering level won't show in my F2P sig. That, or I just haven't hit level 30 yet, even though some people are able to show theirs with lesser levels. :-k BTW, this thread should be in the "Website Discussion" board, if the rules about board placement were being strictly adhered to. I'll leave it to Tripsis or another Mod/Admin to decide upon moving it if they deem fit to do so. Call me odd, but I personally don't think I need to stick a report in this time. :P ~D. V. "Heh... Interesting..." Devnull (p.s.: Even if I were a Mod/Admin, I don't know if I'd move it... Pure_MageUK tends to float around here more than he does there, and he's the one who initially coded the website signature thingy... And now he probably thinks I'm stalking him when I'm not...)
  22. My day is going to be shot about 4643 ways from Sunday... and heck, today IS Sunday. ~D. V. "Damnit..." Devnull
  23. Meh... Quite the opposite, IMO. :geek: Having the wider aspect ratio means that Nyosuht has a wider field of view. Therefore, they can see a much larger area around them, potentially all the way to the view limit edges if they have the camera at the proper angle. Compared even to me and my always running on a single monitor at 1280x800 when playing RuneScape sometimes, that's envy-causing. ~D. V. "Get the picture now?" Devnull
  24. Ultimate high-profit solution: Make your own smithed items and high-alch them. This is what I did, and greatly increased my stack of gp so far, with plenty of room to gain far more. Hopefully you have like 60+ smithing, albeit Steel Platebodies are good? Heck, pardon me while I get back to it. B) ~D. V. "Self-Sufficiency FTW!" Devnull
  25. Uh...? :-s <*Doesn't get it...*> 4647 ....... BTW, enjoy the double... :twss: ~D. V. "Wha...?" Devnull
