    Pie.

Looks like you made something blow out through the armored person's chest armor. :-X Well done on the PK'ing theme, though. ~D. V. "Nice guts." Devnull
  2. Pure_MageUK already addressed this: Smiley Question ;) Ah, silly me! I totally forgot I began that other thread! #-o I guess that's what I get for cleaning up my watched threads this morning! BTW... <*hands Tripsis a bag of perfectly fresh chocolate chip cookies*> ... Thanks for reminding us about that one! ~D. V. "Whoops! LOL..." Devnull
  3. is lurking... Who knows when they'll pop up.

  4. Well done, Romy and Littleboy! Hmm... what's this? Ah... :) <*hands Romy a box of chocolate candies, which happen to be still good, that he found in the forum kitchen fridge*> And I'll let you have fun snacking on those, Romy. :D Unluckily, I don't have a thread to invite you to this time. OT @ Das -- "The Collector"? I don't get it. ~D. V. "Well done, both of you!" Devnull
  5. Probably the one question in the wall of text with meaning to me: Well, let's start with these screenshots of FireFox 4's interface: http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/mozilla-firefox-4-design-mockups-28-07-09/ Now, compared to the screenshot of my own interface, let alone a number of things I could trip over later, we're missing: Menu Bar  (Hey, like to show me how to restore this nicely-spread one? Other than also needing it for a tech-illiterate parent, I also prefer a severe split of commands into menu categories. It just so happens that I and my tech-literate parent use 99% of the available commands already, and don't need them suddenly collapsed/moved/changed in manners that we couldn't pull a needle from a haystack! Sure, they're showing Bookmarks and Tools split off to the right, and in their own separate menus. But they're not where I and my whole family tends to flash with the mouse pointer to look for them. And most of us also tend to like a long address bar, which means the bookmarks/tools menus are way in the wrong place.) Separated Reload/Stop/Go Buttons  (I had another member of my family walk over and have a look at this one. They also didn't like all three of these buttons being squashed into one either. Let's say, for example, that a user changes their mind in mid-stride or has a page get stuck while loading. No one should have to add extra clicks to first stop, and then reload or change address. Seriously, that ends up being a waste of time, and with FireFox 2's interface style, I don't have to deal with that extra wait. Any way to split them back up?) Status Bar :wall: (Hmm, gee, I'm using two different extensions that utilize this section of the browser. Further, I like to watch what specific servers that stuff is loading from. And, both I and my whole family like to know where a link is going first before clicking. I would hope that this is just hidden by default, but would anyone like to point me to where?) Now, you may have noticed, I keep referencing my family as well. It is because we all happen to share these tastes in browser design, and don't want an IE7/IE8/IE9 (let alone Google's Chrome) interface clone for an internet browser. So, again, anyone here want to point out where we would restore an FF2/FF3-style interface to use with FireFox 4's engine and features? We simply don't like this kind of interface that Mozilla wants to push with FireFox 4's release. :notalk: And one other thing... I'm not out to make those that like this other kind of interface angry. I am just simply stating my opinion that such a simplified interface design is "fancy junk" to me, as it basically tries to hide way too much from users. So when you reply back to my post, please avoid trying to shove your "like the new interface" view on me. :( ~D. V. "I'd really like to know, since I'm a bit of a 'propeller-head' about user interfaces..." Devnull (p.s.: Please don't take this post, or my previous two on this thread, as anything meant to be inflammatory or out to make those that like this other kind of interface style angry. I'm personally 26 shades of mad at big businesses like Microsoft/Google, and now Mozilla with this change, and probably letting a bit of it show by accident in my posts.)
  6. Maybe we need to add something like ":disco:" for that one with the moving asynchronous hands? ~D. V. "Just my idea of a workaround!" Devnull
  7. Consider this SUPPORTed by me... It would restore a function that used to be there until some danged whiner made Jagex change it. ~D. V. "This needs to return to the game!" Devnull
  8. Again... too few, and too cumbersome due to being fancifully simplified IMHO... :( Here's what I prefer: [spoiler=My FF2 layout... click to view... too large to let load normally.] (If you want, I can provide a screenshot of my semi-high number of running add-ons.) Plenty of buttons and menus to enjoy and speed along with. Might be overload for you, but it's heaven for me. B) ~D. V. "Yes, I like my interface decked out..." Devnull
  9. Looks like FireFox may be an auto-writeoff for me, at least based on the screenshots alone. One of the major reasons I liked FireFox was that it didn't look like IE7/IE8/IE9/Chrome, which was the kind of "Fancified Interface" Junk that I was trying to escape. Now that FireFox 4 does look like those, it means I'm gonna be searching for a long time for another good internet browser. Engine features ultimately will mean nothing if the user interface itself is overly troubling to use. <_< Sure, I'll put FireFox back on my list of worthwhile browsers IF someone can show me where in the FF4 options to restore the FF2/FF3-style menu bar and other interface features. (Heck, FF3 was darned hard to customize to restore a number of FF2-style things I really liked!) I simply can't handle/stand/utilize an over-simplified interface, as it becomes insanely cumbersome for me when I'm aiming for speed. :( ~D. V. "This is NOT what I changed to FireFox for!" Devnull (p.s.: Obviously, I haven't downloaded the program and checked it out myself because I can't, so I'm making a few potentially bad assumptions... Question is, can any of you find anything that Mozilla hid from view, or are those who like menus and tons of buttons totally [bleep]ed?)
  10. That's probably because they all are either working as staff, used to work as staff at some point, or earned a custom rank from one or more of the contests that have happened. ;) ~D. V. "And that's your explanation why..." Devnull (p.s.: BTW, you and I have broken that lack of normal ranks in this thread. LOL)
  11. 3319 Consider this to be my last official post to this thread... Far too many people have run afoul for me to nail them in a custom style this time. :boohoo: <*DVD nukes everyone in the room but himself, and then de-watchlists the thread... permanently... At least, as far as he's concerned.*> If you were a troublemaker, consider yourself PWNT... If you weren't a troublemaker, you have my sincerest apologies. :geek: <*DVD then walks over to the door and leaves. The sound of people running to the restroom to lose their lunch due to radiation poisoning is heard back in the room.*> ~D. V. "Bye bye, all!" Devnull
  12. 3622 <*DVD grabs Albel's and Run4runes's heads, and smacks them together. Albel and Run4runes both stumble away dizzily in two completely different directions. DVD goes and sits back down, grumbling the whole way there...*> Next time, use Post Preview, check the thread's total post count, and do your math right! :shame: Or maybe you'd like what I did to daxter76 happening to you! ~Mr. D. V. "Yet another 2-for-1 deal..." Devnull
  13. Oh great... Now they're Administrating with their Moo'ing... [/sarcasm] Seriously, though... Congrats to you, Cowman_133!!! Well done on becoming an Admin!!! ~D. V. "Congratulations!" Devnull
  14. Got there before I did... Well done, Napalm_Death :^_^: 3662 ~Mr. D. V. "Nice One..." Devnull
  15. 3679 B) ~D. V. "Not much to say right now..." Devnull
  16. I'm not too sure about that one... Maybe... But I think it would be a good idea to develop an anti-collision system first, in order to prevent crack-ups between jetpack users. :geek: Uh, you do remember that TheBlazikenMaster specifically chartered me to get people for even as little as typos, right? I'm just doing my appointed job here! Although, imagine if I were a Forum Mod... I could slap you silly with a forum edit instead! And look at the bright side... At least you didn't have what I did to daxter76 happening to you... :P 3687 ~D. V. "Crazy stuff happens..." Devnull
  17. Sorry, but I'm not an entire band of people. Not that ugly-looking either. :notalk: Remember that delayed mashing I was talking about? :P You realize, you can't escape by slipping two pages off? Especially when you're 10 count spots off? <_< <*DVD jets over in front of run4runes, and straps a giant jetpack to their back. He then flips it on, and watches them run into the roof all too hard. The jetpack explodes, blasting run4runes back down into the ground, leaving nothing more than their head sticking out. DVD then walks back to the chair he was sitting in.*> And now you're hammered... like a nail. 3692 bottles of beer on the wall, 3692 bottles of beer... ~Mr. D. V. "Epic nailings, and still looking good!" Devnull
  18. 3700 ... And it looks like I'll need to come back and mash someone... :? <*goes backtracking pages...*> ~D. V. "Yes, this is a delayed mashing that's coming to someone..." Devnull (p.s.: NINJA'D!)
  19. 3758 ... *burp* ... *yawn* ... <*falls asleep*> -_- ~D. V. "ZZZzzz..." Devnull
  20. 3760 ... New Page. |^_^| ~D. V. "Another step complete..." Devnull
  21. 3764 ... Hope you're keeping an eye out for more posts, Goonstalf  ~D. V. "Just waiting for the next post..." Devnull
  22. 3791 DVD is hangover? Nah, wasn't a hangover. Was due to someone IRL screwing up my sleep schedule. Unluckily, they keep doing it, and I'm just about ready to "reverse shockwave" on them. <_< And as for you... I think you need a lesson in why not to even crack X-Rated jokes... :shame: <*DVD flashes forward, explosively kicking daxter76 insanely high into the air via a hit between their legs. Yeah, they'll be singing soprano for some time. Anywho, DVD also jumps towards daxter76, and pulls out a giant hammer from his pocket that's apparently labeled with "BAN HAMMER" in glowing letters on the side. He slams it down on daxter76 so hard that they blow clear down into the ground and right through the other side of the planet that is forum.tip.it, ultimately ending up in planetary orbit on the other side. Who knows what kind of pain that daxter76 is currently feeling from that much damage to their body. Unluckily, they won't be back for at least a good page to be able to tell about it.*> Hmph... PWNT. :ugeek: <*DVD flares out his rather gentle, feathery wings... He gently coasts back down to the ground, and lands on his feet. He then walks over and sits down in a nearby chair as he retracts his wings back where they came from, causing them to disappear once more.*> Why do they never get that some things just aren't meant to be said... *sigh* -.- 3766 ~Mr. D. V. "You can forget the X-Rated jokes here, or I can devastate you..." Devnull
