  1. Okay, I don't want to see this idea die, and I am sure it has dropped off the first page of threads... so... BUMP! ~Mr. Devnull
  2. Do you have a better phrase we could use then? I'm 'drawing a blank' right now on a better phrase. :( ~Mr. Devnull
  3. I got a few well-chosen words for you that are rather wise: Expect the unexpected, and stay ready for some awful event to come your way. If you don't, that awful event will "run you over like a big truck on a freeway". 'Nuff said. (BTW, for everyone who wishes to continue that "You don't pay, you shouldn't get anything" [bleep], please realize you are only spamming at this point. This has been hashed over one time too many, and there is something in the first post of the thread regarding this. If you're not gonna read that and then post a properly done argument, then don't post at all. You're merely wasting bandwidth and disk space!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  4. Actually, you have missed the point entirely. Mages are supposed to be able to kick a Warrior's rear. At the same shot, Warriors are supposed to be able to kick Ranger rears, and Rangers are supposed to be able to kick Mage rears. That is the intended design of the Combat Triangle, and as it stands, such is not the case. (That is what began this thread!) Mages and Rangers are currently getting the short end of it, from what I have been able to see so far to date. If anything, Rangers and Mages are finally calling for balance against the Warriors. 'Nuff said. End of story for those against this. (And BTW, quit spamming with those "You don't pay, you shouldn't get anything" messages. By posting them, you have shown that you failed to read the thread start, and are therefore only spamming.) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  5. Well said. ... ***laughs his rear off*** I definitely liked it "old school" with the scroll wheel better. =D> ~Mr. Devnull
  6. 14,209 bottles of beer on the wall, 14,209 bottles of beer... you take one down, pass it around... ***suddenly hiccups  and can't finish the sentence*** ~Mr. Devnull
  7. I wouldn't be too sure about that! If s/he's been following this thread, s/he's probably pretty confused about his/her identity as the clues seem to be pretty contradictory. ***Rolls on the floor laughing*** :XD: You two in that kind of combo just crack me up. ~Mr. Devnull
  8. uh oh... you better run. just keep running. dont stop running for as long as you can breath. youve insulted Ard and her age. :shame: quick, move! here comes the ban hammer down upon your head! i pray for your survival. neogeo0823, swampjedi, if the both of you had really been thinking about that better, you would notice any and all insult is NOT by intent. Further, I have apologized publically. Let it rest, please. I am reasonably sure that Ard_Choille understands this is merely a half-reasonable "Noob Tip.It'ers Error" and is having a well-deserved laugh at my expense already. And if not part of the staff, at least a contributor to the forums for a good while before being considered for the job. After all, despite the anoniniminiminity, this is a fairly high-profile job. Even "the blokes at Jagex towers" read the Times -- so it's not the sort of job you're going to give to a complete n00b. Nice spelling ... should be "anonimity" ... funny. WHOA! HEY!!! Wait a minute, Hugh_Mannity ... did you just toss us a clue?!?!? *shocked* ~Mr. Devnull
  9. 14,227 I do agree that wikipedia vandals should be eliminated. I heard that colleges have recently been banning people from using wikipedia as a reference, and in some cases, from visiting wikipedia at all. :( ~Mr. Devnull
  10. Good question. I'd love to know people's opinions on it. :-s ~Mr. Devnull
  11. I'll bet anything it has something to do with the adverts, not with Tip.It ... :| ~Mr. Devnull
  12. "far" older???!!! Well, unless I miss my memory and/or best guess, you're at least 10 years older than I am, right? Or am I one lame 24-year-old with absolutely no clue as to your age? :-s :| :( ... Sorry if I have made a super-awful bad assumption, Ard_Choille. :( ~Mr. Devnull
  13. Not sure where that connects on this thread, but purple, eh? :-s Right up my alley. :D Oh, wait, no, she's far older than me. *sigh* -.- Well, I guess this 24-year-old, 6'2" lunatic can dream, can't I? : ~Mr. Devnull (Sorry, me and my male nature. ...)
  14. Actually, it could mean the Editor is a mom!?! :ohnoes: Hah! Not this time. They're giving away that The Editor is apparently male. :) ~Mr. Devnull
  15. I would agree with that. And like star_in_the_sky, I will support this idea. I've been made angry by people ranting at me over tutorial island's length. :| Subtle_rune, please put in any necessary further idea patches. I think you have something good here! ~Mr. Devnull
  16. Maybe someone needs to track it down? :? ... Man, I need another F2P quest. Something to get my mind back out of "neutral gear". ~Mr. Devnull
  17. Clown, I get EXACTLY how you feel about this issue. I hope you can talk some sense back into Jagex. :) ~Mr. Devnull
  18. Tim4tehwin, read this also: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=611960 I hope it helps! :) ~Mr. Devnull
  19. Agreed. Now for the 2nd half of this quote of you... : She asks, and here's an answer that may stun her: It would be very fun. Especially when we feel that "feeling of positive accomplishment". Then, of course, there would be the added positive feeling of giving the "Past Editors" their deserved kudos, pats on the back, etc. ... Plus, like I noted earlier, it would make well for the TET, because if there were enough who hated those "Past Editors", then the TET could keep the situation mostly civil and set up battle parties between "Editor Lovers" and "Editor Haters"! HECK YEAH! FIGHT OF THE CENTURY! ***Goes and grabs a bag of chips and offers some to 'Ard_Choille'...*** :) ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Bah... due to the size of my previous post, it ain't good to edit, so here goes on replying to the following... #-o Actually, there is a nice point in continuing this discussion. As more and more Tip.It Times are published, we can read through each one, pick out potential clues, and then try to discuss if they are mere rumor, or potential facts. :-k Sure, Tip.It's staff will have fun messing with our heads a bit, but who knows? Maybe they will slip up, and trigger the "TET Event of the Century", something along the lines of "Fight: 'Editor Lovers' versus 'Editor Haters', no holds barred!" ... I would almost bet this would be a fight they'd all love to watch and enjoy popcorn as it happens! :P Yeah, I think we still have a lot to look forward to! 8-) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  21. Off-Topic, but requires response... Okay, Eelspremiers... I'm looking at this... Oh come on!...Tip.it and their mods aren't that bad that you need to write a comment like that at the end of your post. I don't even know how that could be classed as offensive. :? ...And it looks like you need to be verbally thumped. But first... ***Whips out a Runite Warhammer and sends Eelspremiers back to Lumbridge at least once... maybe twice...*** ...and now that my frustration is purged, here's the explanation to the disclaimer: I've had a point in the past where I accidentally upset the Tip.It Staff. (Apparently, this may or may not be common, I don't know.) Personally, I don't wish to do that twice, so just leave me be on this! :x ~Mr. Devnull (p.s.: Back to the topic now...)
