You choose to go over the ditch and get it, where as before lurers exploited the game to make them look like they're out of the wilderness so the unsuspecting player would go into the wild and loose their items, this isn't really luring as you go into the wild under your own free will and the warning signs are there and if you die when you choose yourself to go into the wild then it's your fault for being naive.
