So far as I notice, the 'lurer' placed a note on the floor, and an unsuspecting person went to grab that note, where he got PKed? That's not luring. The issue with luring is that people weren't entering the Wilderness at their own choice. Here, people are manually crossing the ditch at their own accord. Therefore, if they get attacked, it's fair game. It's not the PKer's fault he was stupid enough to fall for it in the first place. This doesn't prove the ditch is ineffective at all. This is a pathetic, half-drawn attempt by a RCer to get the ditch removed, and it doesn't prove anything.

There's been a few odd comments in the Video Games & Consoles board (in OT) about the amount of Pok̮̩̉̉mon threads on there. As we all know, Pok̮̩̉̉mon has actually formed a community within itself, and due to the large nature of the game, there's quite a lot to talk about, so perhaps it's inevitable threads are being put up there much more than about any other game. Anyways, I propose that a kind of "General Pok̮̩̉̉mon Sticky" be placed on that board, as well as any other game that has its own kind of mini-group, such as the WoW "What server are you are on?" thread, set up by Nadril, which has proved to be really popular. On the General Sticky, Pok̮̩̉̉mon trades, battles and friend codes can be exchanged, as well as any general talk, such as Battle Discussion, or someone asking for assistance. This is mostly to provide a place for Pok̮̩̉̉mon trainers to come together, and to reduce the amount of Pok̮̩̉̉mon-related topics on that board. Comments?

If we can't even keep a sticky updated with the correct info, how on Earth would we be able to keep a whole database updated with the correct info, especially when there's only a dozen or so crewbies, who all have tasks of their own to get on with? So, unfortunetely, it doesn't look like Tip.It will be hosting a price guide in the near future. Other fansites already do it, such as Zybez, so to do a guide would be to just copy them, and we pride ourselves on not copying other fansites, and providing our own knowledge and research. Also, looking on the RSOF will give you a rough price guide in about 30secs. So, all in all, I reject the idea of a price guide. Sorry. :( As for the Price List on the Forum, I have no control over that, nor do I particularly use it. As I said though, looking on the RSOF (you don't even need to be a member to do this) would give you an accurate price in seconds, so perhaps the Price List on here shouldn't really be your first place to go anyway.

Well the thing with that is that no matter what you change it to, it still won't be the same for everybody unless we all redid our avatars to coincide with the change. Not everyone's avatar is 100 pixels wide (mine's 80, for example, and I like it that way). I'm not sure who has the original staff image files, but unless we still have access to them, the avatars would have to be remade entirely, which is just a lot more unnecessary work :( Agreed. It's a lot easier to crop or scale your own avatar to a width of 80 using any basic image program than it is to have all the staff's avatars redone, especially when you'll just create a problem where those who currently have avatars of 80 width will start looking funny.

All monsters' profiles have been uploaded to the Bestiary, where further corrections can be submitted using the "Submit Correction" form. Since that's actually easier for us to deal with, this thread will now be locked. If you have any other info you feel should be added to the monsters' profiles that can't be entered using the "Submit Correction" (images, for example), feel free to PM me. :) Thanks for all of your help on this update, we simply couldn't have done this without you! Kinda obvious why, but I do :) When I was officially announced as a Tip.It crewbie, I got a few HYTs when I went to take a break at CW, which kinda made me feel cool, yet weird at the same time. :P

I mean, not all of them are full of hypnotised raving drunks with dance music and the bass cranked to the max. You get all sorts of clubs... some don't even serve alcohol, just coke and Red Bull and that, and actually only allow under 18s (over 14s) in.

It certainly seems that way. Hence why everyone's saying Mithril Dragons are the only way to get the Dragon Full Helm.

I've stayed in all day working on getting these new monsters added to the Bestiary! : The entries are actually almost ready to be released to the bestiary, however there's some pretty critical info I'm still missing. I still need pictures of the new monsters (already got Mithril, Brutal Green, Skeleton Warlord and Waterfiends), info on how much Gold they all drop, and how they are found. Haha! If only it were 1st April - I could use it as an excuse and save some face! :lol: Okies, I'll get correcting that. I've also established that all the other monsters (the skeletons, barbarians and spirits) actualyl drop exactly the same drops as each other, so I've rolled up everyone's submissions and replecated it across all the entries. I don't really want to make these entries public until I get some pics to put with them!

And I did timing on this a while ago, and I found that a full round for demon butlers to make and bank Planks with the log notes in your inventory takes a little under a minute, which i think well justifies the extra 50gp it takes. Either way, I have tested this a while ago and it is per trip, not per item, that the butler will count before asking for your salary. Ahhh... but isn't there a new spell that planks all logs in the inventory? Would that be cheaper per log? I think it was included in the Dream Mentor update? I remember reading something like that, I'm not too hot on Magic. :( I'd be happy to do the maths after I've done my task for this week and get back to one of the guide editors, probably pokemama if she's done her task (you seems to like construction :), with this info.

One more thing, the beard in my picture is mandatory. You cannot and i repeat CANNOT kill any mithril dragons or brutal green dragons without a [bleep]'n white beard. I should have said that to begin with I'm sorry What's with the white beard? Why do i NEED it? I'll try getting some more pics of the other monsters later. I'm actually starting to doubt this info. I can't obviously go into details, but we're receiving submissions asking if this is really necessary. Can someone else try fighting it without a beard, and see if they still can? If an NPC provided this info, this doesn't mean it's necassarily true. I'll update all other monsters apart from the Waterfiends, which I notice seems to have info constantly being added to it. Great work, Wlbob, don't think I'm not noticing! I'll let that list build up before I go adding anything. :wink: BTW, is it safe to assume all skeletons drop the same, and all undead barbarians, and all spirits drop the same (with the exception of Skeleton Hero, which seems to drop more pages)? On a side-note, those of you who are more observant may have noticed the Mithril Dragon's and Brutal Green Dragon's profile has been released on the Tip.It bestiary. All those who submitted info have been credited. If you haven't, and you feel this is unfair, PM me, but this most likely because someone else submitted it before you.

See this is what irritates me about Jagex - their complete narrow-mindedness. They could have used that update to deal a blow to the macro market, but they just never think of these things! #-o

You gotta go sometime I guess. I'm 17 and I've never actually been clubbing, or to a party really. I don't see the point in getting wasted like that - I kinda like remembering what I get up to on the night before. : Just one point though - would it really be right to "get lucky" on drunken girls who don't really know what they're doing? I know lots of people do that, I usually find these people seedy and greasy...

Did some quick maths on this: Number of trips = 8 Logs per trip = 25 (28 - saw, hammer and teles) Logs per salary = 8 * 25 = 200 Salary = 10,000 Cost per log = 10000 / 200 = 50 GP So the new price per oak log is 300... GP Which is a rise of a fifth on its original price. Dunno if that helps in anyway, but I was bored, so... you know. That's how I train construction anyway. Withdraw a saw, hammer and use ammy of glory in house and home teletabs, gives 25 planks per trip.

This information I feel would be more appropriate in the items database entry for the helm. Although, I tink they're gonna be troubled finding out alchemy information for that ATM when they're worth 40M each :lol: I've added a little note in the Bestiary entry about how these are the only way to get the helm though. Make a request of someone who is buying one to get the sell to a general store price. All 4 prices can be determined by a formula when given any one of them, so all we have to do is ask for someone to get a price the store would buy for, and we're set. There's a formula? Never knew that... could have saved me a few nats when I submitted info for the ID... :roll: And I'll get updating that list now, bored. 100 ores? Seems a bit... too much :?

You know... anyone would think Jagex intented for the dragons to be deliberetely hard! :roll:
