  1. They aren't trying to show off their pk'ing skills. They get drop potential however from skilling, standing around, or pk'ing in hot spot then cash in the drop potential. It's a part of the system jagex gave us.
  2. Hah i tried to get back my mule which i've drop traded, bug abused, rwt'd, macro'd a little by saying "I apologize, I been good. I learned my lesson". Got it back within a day. Gg dudes Back to cause more trouble for the establishment.
  3. hah that's a pretty neat account i'd get prayer though so you can prot item atleast because you'd be very easy to k0.
  4. Hmm it's been about a year since I've turned on the wii. Shows my support for their shovelware. I haven't played any games in a while so I haven't really used the 360 but I have found use of my ps3's other capabilities during busy times at my studio.
  5. More like they use different methods to heal besides brewing. Titans, unicorns, fruit bats, guthans, and they use brews for emergency healing.
  6. You jumped on the wagon and tried to buy up an item already rising for a few days lol. Hope you learned something, I've done that before when I was just starting to solo merchant. Not a big deal.
  7. oooo they didn't say anything about rwt'ers haha i'll try to get my main back then i'll have a lvl 138 and 126
  8. Just think, you would ACTUALLY have that much if you worked instead of played. I like that logic. yea like you'd expect to be paid by the hour to play a video game you're addicted to lol
  9. lol they don't have the time to wait  it does affect us but not to the point where we would let it ruin the game. if you really need something then pay the extra cost for convenience just like before ge or buy it from friends.
  10. Honestly, I couldn't careless about the way people make their money. If they want to be used and may/may not make money then let them. If I can't get a bunyip pouch then i'll just make some. If I can't buy veracs helm for max then oh well, i'll still live. If I was going for 99 farming and they bought out magics and yews then i'll just wait a couple of days after they dump it when it stablizes. Seriously it's not a big deal.
  11. True, but at the same time it's somehow smarter. If 1 person buys an item, it will go up x gp, if 2 people buy it, your looking at 2x, if 100 people buy it, theoretically it could be 100x. in reality it doesn't work like that, it stack up in a compund rate to indices to quite a few decimal places. Please don't read the method if you have'nt got a head for maths. Your face will explode. [hide=Maths geek.]Something like y*(number of days^7/6) = Ans1 Ans1^0.025 = Ans2 Ans2*1000 = Increase (Final answer) So, bunyip pouch starting at 1k... = 1000*5^7/6 = 6538.30243 ^0.025 = 1.245623018 *1000= 1245.623018 increase; Which means the price after 5 days should be ~2246gp/pouch Sorry for being a maths geek. :-# In fact, in reality it doesn't work like this, as there are millions of variables to factor in and the conditions are impossible in the circumstances of Ruenscape.[/hide] Basicly: after 5 days, you can expect a doubling in price at the least if 100 people (with unlimited money) completely exhaust an item with 100% demand and 0% supply which cannot be re-sold. In reality, you'd be VERY VERY VERY lucky to see this. I demand exceeds supply, the item will raise a maximum of 5% per G.E update. it's fake demand and your math is wrong magicmanmax. it won't have a 100% increase in 5 days.
  12. I love the attitude of the people in those clans. They can't think for themselves so they have someone tell them what to buy and they buy whatever the cc owner dumps onto ge in a day or so.
  13. Honestly phats are a horrible investment since they can only rise/fall 1% a day. with that 100m'ish you could make alot more than the 1m rise that may or may not happen.
  14. Most are asocial with players not on their friends list. Most are regarded as no-lifes also.
  15. i lost the drive for this game ages ago, nothing but grinding left considering i've basically done everything possible. only reason i've played for the last couple of months was when my friends texted me to get on for a pvp war. even new content like soul wars isn't enough to keep me interested. i honestly couldn't care if they come out with new armor, dragon war hammer, pickaxe, etc etc.
  16. I understand where you're coming from, but do you know how much money that is? You could practically buy a car with that much. I've never been a supporter of RWT but, wow. actually that was the first rule i've ever broken. i had about 3 bil worth at the time, $5 a mil. let's face it, i was in high school and played runescape for fun as i'm sure that is the case with many people. however when you see that you could have a ton of money on an online game and able to show off pixels to other players, compare that to up to $15k irl. gp was actually pretty easy to sell at the time. that was what i was faced with and if others had the opportunity to do so without getting caught, i'm sure i wouldn't be the only one who tossed aside morals on an online game and go shopping. account banned, oh well who cares it's just a game. not like all my time was wasted, i had fun.
  17. Seeing that reapme was part of the problem isn't as much of a surprise when you realize him, and half of his clan, are going to be permabanned for abusing the pvp glitch. we pwned jagex on this one actually  jagex agrees to allow SS after the riot after the "overwhelming support" i think were the words by jagex itself we express our frustration with the riots, we don't really expect them to go back and change. they're also fun too. you can say we're wasting our time but it draws alot of attention. lots of j mods show up but they can't really do anything but mass mute. we know they put alot of thought into it and why it has to be done but they're really ruining the way lots of people play. if it doesn't affect you then fine, it's easy to tell others to just like different things. what do you do when jagex takes away a big part of why you play the game, bow down to the almighty corporation and adapt because they know everything? did you ever rwt? not gonna lie, i sold maybe 2 bil before they caught me, not once had i ever used wild as a method of rwt nor have i ever seen it. we'd just trade it on our mules. wild was not used for rwt but it could be used that way if they took out free trade. so to take away rwt, you take away a different part of the game. same with duel arena. old wild wasn't bad, rwt trading was bad and eventually old wild could be used as rwt but that doesn't make it bad, it makes it a problem. btw how do the internet protests get resolved? j mods come in and mute and try to calm people down how do irl protests get resolved? tear gas and mace lol basically they do nothing and nothing gets resolved
  18. someone is bound to swallow it? Yeah. :| And the fact that it's for the most part, completely useless. Well, it's a relief to not have a full bladder though. That's the only good part - it makes the rioters feel good, like they've done something. it lets jagex know how the players feel about what they've just done even if it isn't successful. if you notice, all these riots have greatly impacted how people played the game. people who aren't greatly affected by it think it's stupid to even raise an eyebrow at. a pker has the wilderness taken away and given a trash minigame called bh which was also taken away, a staker who does millions/even billions of gp worth at a time is reduced to like 50k a stake, people don't like that jagex took away things they like to fix a different problem in the game. now to just accept it and don't question jagex's logic is really out of the question. why don't you go tell all the people who protest the war to go home and they're being idiots because we're still gonna be in the war no matter what kind of signs they hold.
  19. only one i've seen work is the swiftswitch one.
