How can a cold, hard fact be wrong? AGS > SGS in PVP. SGS isn't "better" for PVP. It does heal more than the AGS would do damage though.

I used to like to throw big parties. Had like 500 people at my 99 defense 126 combat party. about 150 for my 99 magic and range party. now i'm pretty quiet about everything though

I have ags and sgs, sgs is more versatile but I prefer AGS in most situations because the extra healing isn't really a big deal. In most places, sgs isn't enough alone so i would always need a second method of healing.

How often would it be the case that the drop from a 10 second pj is better than a 5 minute fight? Rarely. So let me ask you...would you rather go to a drop party in the party room and pop a balloon for a blue partyhat, or earn 400m from skilling? I'd be happier with the first and I'm sure about 99% of rs would. How often? Considering they have nearly the same drop potential, I wouldn't say rarely. I was just bringing out the point that people go to pvp worlds/bh mainly for drops.

I bet you could find over 100 videos on youtube just by putting in the acronym pk or pvp, let alone specifically looking for something. haha do you find more satisfaction fighting each other in a 5 min fight and winning with no food left and getting like 20k worth of loot or spec'ing someone in first 10 seconds and getting 5M of loot? i'll be alot happier with the latter and i'm sure about 99% of rs would. most those pk vids have one thing in common, the drops at the end of the kills. most of them don't even have the whole fight on the vid. maybe 5% of the people go to bh and pvp worlds to show off their skill only to find themselves fighting against the other 95% made up of teamers/taggers, ags ,dds, claw, dbow pj'ers, ancients, tb'ers, safers, etc etc who are there to kill you and get your stuff

I chose to do barrage for last 11 levels after unicorn though i didn't need all those calculations, all i knew was it was faster than bursting then that was that : nice to see it worked out though

people pvp for loot, not to show off how good their skills are.

Considering they were meant to be worlds where no place is safe, you're asking for a lot if you want to fight someone 1v1 then be able to happily bank after wards.

SGS spec wouldn't be great in pvp. You aren't trying to outlast your opponent, you're trying to KO him.

depends what i did to die. i get pissed off if it was someone elses fault at PvM or i see a ridiculous spec on PvP. otherwise if it's from my stupidity and messing around then i tell my friends on ventrilo about it, we have a few laughs and i buy back what i lost. no biggies, i don't really go risk stuff like void. if i am in a situation that i could die, it would be with items that i can buy back.

Wrong, for anything but eating PKing (not clan wars), a single SGS spec is equal to 2 AGS specs. Don't go sounding off about how amazing it is, it's HALF as good as SGS for PKing. Sounds like you're overexaggerating there. It is true that if you fight out a full fight with both people safeing then the SGS will heal more than the AGS spec will hit but you disregard the KO potential of the AGS. Say you hit a 30 with whip and immediately AGS spec, you have a chance of killing them. You won't always hit 70's but you get two chances to KO. SGS does not have that potential to KO, you can outlast your opponent but that's not really what pvp is about.

if all you're basing it on is training exp then others that are waste of time are void, barrows gloves, fire cape since it takes time to get them that you will not get back. People just get minigame/quest items to have them, not everyone is trying to be as efficient as possible with what they have.

Even if each drop is independent, law of averages puts the items at a certain drop rate. Best example is abyssal whip. Say 100 people kill 20k abby demons each. If jagex put a number of 1/500 on it then all 100 people will converge on 40 whips each with maybe 5-10 as the standard error(give or take).

i got rol'd like 10 times getting 99 summon lol never died though, you have really low chances of dying if you're wearing rol

i'd like to see what they can do with Bioshock 2. Can't say I'm not looking forward to FFXIII trio either. Diablo 3 and SC 2 isn't far off the top of my list.

i hope that phoenix is 99 summon :D

it's not worth it but i still have it and use it pretty often.
