And hopefully even using those resources and hard work to build a better citadel. If they execute it correctly this could be really awesome. However I sincerely doubt it will be the biggest update of the year. I assume the reintroduction of free trade and wild (if you want to really call it an update), Nex, and the upcoming ROTM quest are in line to be first before these citadels. This is what I'm hoping for aswell. Looking forward to this, we have enjoyed the previous clan updates this year and hope that this will be even better. It always baffles me how people are so negative about updates - even before the updates happen. While I don't always agree with the decisions and priorities JaGex make, I certainly don't think they do a lousy job on making an effort to improve the game. Just look at some of the reactions here: Several say "As long as they don't make the game imbalanced by giving the citadels lots of ressource spawns..." and many say the opposite "This update is worthless unless they make great new training spots". Then some people refuse to be in a clan, or clan updates are nothing for them. Some are F2P, and are excluded - again. A few are dead set killers, and unless the update offers 5 different options for killing, it's quickly deemed worthless. They simply can't win - especially since the dissatisfied ones often are more opinionated AKA loud about it. :) That comes to my mind everytime I read an update thread on here. People just wait on jagex to mess up or release something with bugs and glitches then bash how much they suck at handling everything.

I've been wrongfully banned before, the penguin glitch. I was there just looking at the huge crowd gathering for unlimited penguin spotting. I didn't attempt to get any points nor did I get any exp from it. Took like a week for them to unban me

They have no auto detection but through enough reports, they do ban. I'd know lol edit: Sorry, temp ban + a little roll back x)

Frost dragon bots have a high ban rate so just keep reporting them :thumbup:

Yes, I know a guy who runs 200 accounts on virtual systems, solely for the purpose of gold. Why do you think their are rwting sites? Would there not be if it wasn't a viable option for making money? And all you really have to do is activate a bot, and let it run on it's on, barely any interaction is involved. Because people who don't bot are generally people who don't feel pressured to grind to 99, and thus don't feel the need to bot. The person that bots to 99 agililty obviously wants 99 agility more than the person who just doesn't train agility because he CBA to do it and doesn't play for 99s, because for some reason the botter feels the need to have 99 agility on the account. If the person doesn't care about playing the game, why would he even be botting it? Only explanation is that there is some external reason for having 99 agility, or the person has some insatiable addiction to RS that he can't be comfortable unless he is constantly gaining those crucial expees. Just because they bot for levels doesn't mean they don't enjoy the game. They don't like the part of the game that they bot =0

Not so at all. A genuine player, even if he/she is a serial grind-trainer, shows variation in their gameplay. A bot generally does not. It is not that hard for a large group of computer programmers to generate a method of detecting the use of other (3rd party) programs to interact with theirs. For instance, the bots which fight Chaos Mages. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to their actions but in reality, they follow a scripted course, just like every other bot ever. JaGEx's detection systems do fail sometimes, but never (as far as I hear) has it resulted in a wrongful ban for macroing. With bots being just about any level, though, it's not going to get any easier to tell...I'll admit to that. :( Bots are programmed to misclick, chat every now and then in cc, take breaks and log back in, pause for some time etc Almost full antiban movements Only way Jagex will know they are botting is if the scripter had a bug, bot gets stuck, and someone reports it.

Smh at this thread, banned person wants his guide off even though it still has helpful info just to spite the site. The mods/admins don't want to give him the satisfaction. Legal affairs and whatnot, too much drama over a game fan site.

Personally I think the community has gone way downhill from when I started coming on here. Alot of flaming and trolling going on nowadays.

Think I was getting around 600k cook exp an hour, the max exp is probably more since I'm not all too efficient. I don't think I've ever failed on it although I started around 70 cooking.

It's still possible to recover the account if he has old recoveries so you're not completely safe just by changing them.

Surprisingly, this Bot Busting has taken some effect. It may only be temporary but it's gotten number of bot users banned. I know people who have several rc bots, papaya bots, ess bots etc running 24/7 at once as gold farm accounts, some with over 20M rc exp without getting banned but just recently temp banned or rolled back (cash, items, and exp). Many are temporarily stopping due to bot busting. Little win for Jagex lol, too bad they need jmods to come do it manually.

K so don't bot for a few days then when jagex gets tired of camping hot spots they'll be back

Alot worse going on than botting if you're going to relate real life morals to an online game. Bs'ing, scamming, bug abuse, luring etc.

They do, I've seen one clean house at flax fields before.
