No, not really. CC3 is an RTS where you have many units and it can be very memory/processor consuming; the graphics aren't such a big problem. FPS shooters use all three of them and the newest ones need ALOT of it. But then again, I'm no computer expert and I have no idea when these games came out. My guess is that if you can run CC3 you can probably run BF2.

Stay away from 64-Bit OS. They tend to be very buggy and are not utilized fully yet. The only real upgrade is that you get to use more memory.

It's not the best, but I can say it's better than the old Dell mouse I had. Edit: The software that comes with it is pretty good. I love how I can switch sensitivity while playing a shooter, for the different guns.

I play CS nowadays anyway 8-) Also, as stated in another thread, Jagex is losing $70,000 CDN anually or something. This also happened to me for a while. It was, I think, a combination of problems. First, my sound driver was outdated. Then, I found out my processor was going about 700 MHz slower than it used to be. Games would play a little, then I would get the blue screen of death. I then proceeded to download/install the latest graphics card drivers, and now all of my games work fine.

Wrong!...ish. Someone in my class did a report on the whole Aqua Dot deal... Apparantly, a 1.1 gig processor from AMD is the equivalent of a 1.8 on an Intel. Not to mention much cheaper.

Surely the Intel processors look intimidating. Quad-core, Core 2 Extreme, Xeon. Or do they? Take a look at AMD's Athlon 64 x2 dual-core or FX processors. Athlon. Xeon. Turion. Core 2. What does it matter? What matters is what processor you think is superior. So tell me, what processor do you think is best, the Intel's Core 2 Extreme QX6700, or AMD's Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core?
