Why isn't it possible to X-out on w28?

Runescape runs lag-free under 128 mb of ram in linux :) Make that 512mb for windows.

I've got the same problem, I think all 90+ people have got that problem (specially in f2p). It is because they always see high level players with 'expensive' items. In their eyes: high lvl combat = rich.

Just wondering, how many hours would it take to get 1 week of membership? If you got enough referrals not much. Just put it on the background while playing rs and click once every 30 seconds.

The "Click here to play"-window when you right log in really irritates me. Well not the actual window but the fact that it slows me down in world hopping at the rr at lvl 45 wildy. Your account will be shown ingame even before you press "Click here to play" so pkers have got an advantage over you since they see you before you can see them. Oh and before I forget: the word 'nerfed'.

It wasn't an honest way of making money. More like bug abuse and lying to other people since allot said they were going to use the bows for fletching xp but just sold them to a shop.

It's an old thing from RSC that shouldn't be given any importance. Jagex won't do anything against Tip.it or other major fansites using other images. Just let this die :)

A new random event that came out yesterday. You are brought to a classroom and have to answer a few questions. Look at the RS Knowledge Database for more info.

I'd go for the item with the best attack/defense stats but sadly enough I don't know wich one.

I suggest creating desktop shortcuts to world 1 & 2 and use those instead of swiftswitch when you are trying to get on those. Shouldn't be hard as "script kiddie" :P I don't think SwiftSwitch is opensource so if you still want to implent it into the client (wich is against jagex rules btw) your only chance is to contact the creator of SS.

I think I've got a realistic vision on the future of rs. Jagex will continue to get the fullest graphics/performance out of Java.More graphical updates to existing monsters and areas. Runescape won't be ported to another platform. I expect Jagex to come out with a new (online) game within 5 years from, not a MMORPG. Runescape won't be affected much by this imo. The German version of runescape will get more attention and get more servers. (most people don't even know it exists) Another language might also be released. Maybe dutch, french or even japanese/chinese (doubtful). I can see the number of accounts doubled within 5 years and having 400k or 500k users online at peak times compared to 200k-250k now. Atleast one to three skills will be released in this period. I'm thinking about summoning due to the fact Jagex has been working on that in RSC but the rs engine caused a problem. This could be solved by now. Instead of a new skill there may also be a large update to an existing skill (mining?). Remember this post :P

It's f2p also, I've got it within 15 minutes of the update.

Erm most macros DID pick up the axe head, you don't know what you are talking about. 99% of these lvl 3's you see are bots, bots don't work with colours (like SCAR) but with Object ID's and a modified version of the rs client. I even know the name of the program (can't say it because it is against TIF rules but I can tell you it has the same name as a rs toolkit) and know that is written and update by one chinese guy who sells it for a few dollar / week. It even has an auto updater. The most gold farmers are there for more complex tasks like dragon slaying.

Let's try not to flame to much on those pures since they aren't all protesting at w99, just some crazy ones :oops: :P
